Why didn't they run the show live? I feel so gyped. If O&A are involved it should be on 202.

I loved how Op made sure to drop the "XM Satellite Radio" bomb as often as he could during the show.

How the fuck does XM let the little doggy fund and take control of an event starring and NAMED AFTER their biggest 'NAMES'? God damn did they drop the ball again!

that was really fucked up. i met a bunch of people there that were going to see breuer and really didn't know the how to get O&A still! this would have been a perfect time to hand out WOW stickers ,and shirts, and give away roadies, etc. XM is fucking retarded.
Sirius helped fund the entire NY Comedy festival, not just The Passion.
As much as we all like O&A they weren't considered the biggest thing in the festival or they would have been booked at Madison Square Garden.
Anyone besides me notice Breuer didn't push Sirius? I didn't really expect him to but by not doing it it seems to send a signal that he won't be re-upping with them.

Then why was the show dubbed "The passion of OnA"?
Wouldn't sirius have a say in that shit or did XM find a creative way to get sirius to promote thier shit?
Is Sirius doing better marketing and promotion for the bbboys than XM?
Squidlow I don't understand your question. XM wasn't mentioned in the title. O&A themselves said on the air that they were bitch slapped by the competition.

The show on Saturday was part of the "New York Comedy Festival". The Comedy Festival was partially sponsored by Sirius. They weren't sponsoring "The Passion of O&A" specifically. But since this show was under the banner of the Comedy Festival, Sirius was an indirect sponsor.

To put it simply, Sirius was a sponser of the NY Comedy Festival. The Passion of O & A show was one of a week or so of shows that made up the NY Comedy Festival. Sirius does not book the shows, someone else decided that O & A could host a show as a part of the Comedy Festival. But Sirius threw a fuckin' fit when the O & A staff was pushing XM at the Passion of O & A show, especially since Sirius was not allowed to advertise at the show either. I'm just gald we could completely piss off the head Sirius cunt and force that twat to stand in the cold gaurding the Mercedes that was on display outside because a WOW sticker had already been put on it.

My question was how did "OnA" being the shows title get past Sirius for an event they paid to sponser...
It doesn't have to say XM to be pro XM...
I guess the answer to my question was Sirius didn't have a big enough stake to control the individual events inside the realm of New York Comedy Festival.
I also wonder why I really didn't here anything as far as advertising for any event sponsers...

Sirius didn't have a say on who was in what show, they were just one of a number of sponsors. There were others that planned and booked the shows for the Comedy Festival. (probably Clear Channel)

The boys said that the Sirius thing was 'very last minute' and that they didn't know about it. That being said...
XM fucked up and didn't come to bat for the boys... AGAIN. I hate to be one of the bandwagon jumpers that whine and bitch at everything, but this is getting out of control. I love the fact that they boys are back and that I get to hear them after 2 and half years of hell, but WHAT THE FUCK?
I understand that O&A might not have had the initial draw that they thought they were going to or subscriptions aren't that high, but how in the flying fuck are they supposed to get more people listening without ANY god damned advertising? I mean, for fuck sake, I'm a huge god-damned fan of the show and I can't even get a fucking WoW sticker.

They just don't like the tough questions. They always answered me quickly until a non-response when I asked them what was going to happen with O&A on streaming.
