November 15th 2004 – “Chockfull of Funky Treasure”
Show Open – New Version of the “Ecstasy of Gold” theme/New Opening Sweeper/New version of Rage music.
• Martini Steve comes in to say that the new theme was recreated by Dru Boogie.
• Talk about the Passion of O&A at the Hammerstein ballroom in NY on Saturday. Opie says that they need to take it on the road. They start talking about the two women at the show, who made out as part of the show open, one wearing a Red Sox shirt, and one wearing a Yankees shirt. They say the girls were “rank”.
• Marion calls in, to talk about the boys mentioning her husband. Op says her husband hates the fact that Marion is a ‘celebrity’. She mentions that Lady Di is in a state of depression. Marion was angry because the black security guard wouldn’t let her use the bathroom.

• More talk about the Hammerstein show. Op can’t understand why there was no XM presence at the show, no stickers, not even their XM van. Sirius was a corporate sponsor of the event, and they made sure that they restricted any promotion of XM. The interns couldn’t hand out WOW stickers at the venue, and had to hand them out in the streets. They also could not wear the XM O & A t-shirts. Nathaniel the intern had his bag stolen.
• Audio from Kevin Straley’s appearance on “Cold Pizza” (ESPN2) on Friday. He said that O & A are the pioneers of satellite radio
• Audio of Earl Weaver, old coach of the Baltimore Orioles, cursing on a radio show into break.
Break 3 – Misc. News Items, Comic Loyalty
• Back from break, Op says TV needs to stop showing the 57 year old woman on the news.
• Audio of Scott Petersen being found guilty. Op says it’s good to see the one of these types of cases go the right way. Ant talks about the jurors that were thrown off the case. He says that he wanted him to get off, just for the reaction factor.
• ODB death over the weekend, leaving behind 13 children. Ant says it’s good to see him busting apart those stereotypes.
• Star Jones’ wedding. Talk about how she had sponsorship for the wedding, and that she lost weight before the wedding. Ant says she will be huge as ever in a few weeks.
• Naked man jumps into crocodile pool at Bronx Zoo, at the World of Darkness section (“Is that the surrounding neighborhood” – Ant “ding-ding’).
• Ozone Midget Sighting – Midget playing poker.
• Ben comes in and talks about Ol’ Dirty being caught stealing books on Friday. Ant says that when he left on Friday, OD was hammered off the jager.
• Trucker calls in, from Niagara Falls. This leads to Ant talking about being there, and seeing the falls for a second and then spending the next 20 hours in the casino playing blackjack. Back to the trucker, who says that he did jail time for a DUI. He starts the usual trucker rambling, and Op has to cut him off.
• Quick call from Club Soda Kenny. Op thanks him for being a true friend of the show. Op says he wishes that the people that did the old show would show some loyalty. He talks about Dice being in town, and not coming on the show, and trying to get on “someone else’s” show. Op says he is trying to get to the bottom of it before giving the details. Ant says they are also up in the air with Lewis Black, whose people are saying that he might be available in the spring. Jimmy says that any comic that doesn’t show loyalty, they should just spit in their face and move on. He says the vibe is that people are waiting for them to get bigger before coming on. Op says he thought that the reason Dice was on the show was because he enjoyed being there, but Ant says it was all about selling tickets. They talk about Bruer, and Ant says he was stoned.

• Talk about Ashton Kutcher – Opie says he needs to calm the fuck down.
• Jimmy talks about flying over to Iraq, to entertain the troops. He talks about the plane, and the fact that they had to do combat maneuver landings to make sure that they were not an easy target for any guerillas on the ground. He says he wanted to throw up.

Back to Op’s story, he says that he let a Rolling Stones song “Star, Star” play on the air that had cursing in it, because he did not have his headphones cranked up.
• Lady Di Calls in. They ask where she has been applying to for a job, and then they tell her she really needs to stop drinking. They say that she looks horrible, she says that all she needs is a haircut - jimmy says Al Zarqawi should cut her hair. They start insulting her to the tune of “Party all the time”.
Break 6 – Rent Boys
• Jim brings in a book called “Rent Boys”, as a punishment for when anyone makes a mistake on the show. The book is a collection of gay erotic stories, and Jim had the idea that it would be funny to have someone seriously read it. First up, Sexbagel, for his mistake earlier. They make it a stipulation that it must be read seriously, and with no laughing. Eric reads his paragraph – “funky treasure”. Ant says they now have a month’s worth of promo material. Then they have Derek the intern read a paragraph.
• “Hi Mom I’m Gay” into break
Break 7 – Guess what’s in my pants, Silence of the Lambs musical
• Silence of the Lambs Musical – They received a CD in the mail, of the songs they were playing last week.
• They are interrupted by news story of Colin Powell stepping down as Secretary of defense. They speculate on why he stepped down, and who might take over for him. Jim suggests McGreevy – Secretary of Funky treasure
