Hey Dudes, Thanks much for the help. I'll be checking the sites you all mentioned. I remember a thread way back where someone had a problem with the image size requirements being too small. I guess it was imagestash, I had to shrink the pic down to almost a thumbnail to get it to upload.

Don't forget if you have cable internet you get lots of file storage
space that can be used to host pics too. All my stuff comes from my
space with Comcast cable. Every e-mail addy gets a shitload of space
and Comcast allows up to 5 e-mail addy's per account.:action-sm

In photoshop go to save as or save for web and save the image as a Jpeg. or gif. Also in image size you want the image to be around 500 pixels high or wide. That is a rough estimate for a good posting size. Hope this helps.

No they dont have to be. It is tricky getting the size down right.

You COULD watermark them if you wanted. I dont use em', but you could probably figure it out on your own.

I'm having a problem with getting any of the sites to host my pic, but I suspect it's something I'm doing wrong while I'm saving the pic (I'm a PS noob). After I finish the pic that I'm PSing it saves it as a .psd file, which apparently isn't allowed on sites like imageshack. And, it also increases the size of the file by a lot, for instance I had two pictures that combined were about 65 KB, but after I copied one picture into the other one with PS it made the file 1.8 MB or so. WTF am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

Go to Save AS... and change the format to JPEG, BMP, OR GIF. The site should tell you what you Can and Cannot host.

Keep resolution under Image>Image Size>Resolution (bottom of window) and change to 72. It should cut down the size of the pic and the file size.

"Movable" pictures are simply a series of pictures or frames
put together and saved in GIF format. You would neeed a GIF animator or editor.I use Imageready.

A photo editor(Photoshop) allows you to resize a photo before sending it to imageshack.
Those resolution tags can be turned off at the imageshack website.

The easiest way is to right-click in the title bar above the picture you want to shrink or expand, while in PhotoShop. If you want to change the length or the width, but not both at the same time, you need to uncheck "constrain proportions".

In Photoshop, underneath where it says SAVE, try SAVE FOR WEB.
It's easy, and you can drastically reduce the file size of your image without a noticeable difference.

when your in imageshack after you hit 'browse' then 'host it' the next screen pops up then you go up to the top and hit MY IMAGES another screen will pop up highlight and copy the (IMGhttp:// etc etc) line under Embeddable code, then come back to wackbag and paste it in the comments section

I downloaded the tryout for Adobe Photoshop and in the setup I have to select either "I am a 30 day trial user" or put in my serial number and user name.

So I click on the 30 day trial thing and the next window says that I can't continue unless I put in my serial number and user name, which I don't have because it's just a trial.

Does anyone know what I'm supposed to do? Thanks.
