Did a little x-mas shopping tonight and last stop was the craft store to get a kit for my lil' cousins. So as we were going in I noticed 2 golfers selling candy at the exit door. I remembered the subject brought up a few weeks ago on the show where O & A were talking about golfers who were like 20 + years old selling candy for thier junior high school. I couldn't wait to leave the store to see what they said to me. These 2 had to be at least my age (25) and as I walked out I was surrounded by both of them talking at once to buy candy only $4 a pack to support thier "High School Christmas Fund Raiser", As I broke though without saying a word I couldn't help buy put both my hands in my pockets to make sure my wallet and cell were still thier, then I began to crack my ass up laughing. Silly Golfers :icon_mrgr

You need a good golfer repellent in a .40 caliber.

They're on the subways in NYC all the f'ing time. Even during the day, which is hilariously ironic...
Golfer: "Buy candy to support my school."
Bach: "Shouldn't you BE in school right now."

I hear ya. If you know the Garden State Plaza they are usually thier too selling candy. We all know its not for no school fund raiser. They buy these boxes at a warehouse cheap and jack the price for whatever criminal reason. Place where I used to live sold fund raiser boxes to schools. I used to get my Marlboro 25's thier because you can't find them in regular stores in NJ

Nice!
Tragically, though it's true. These guys look like they should be full-fledged members of the general population of "D" Block by now.

This golfer in grammer school when I was in the 4th or 5th grade and it was the candy selling time would take 10 boxes of 30 bars to sell and I would do the same and year after year this kid would win the big prize which was a BMX Bike at the time. I would get the 2nd place overall prize which was a crummy Franklin Soccer Ball. The kid's mother though was the person who would count all the money students brought in. I never stood a chance and I was stupid enough to keep selling until I got out of that school thinking this would be the year I got the BMX...NEVER HAPPENED!

Ha. This actress chick I used to go out with lived up on 139th and Riverside. (Harlem for those outside of NYC). I could NEVER take a subway up there without being practically assaulted by gangs of candy-wielding golfers selling stuff "for school" on the train.

I had to deal with it though. It was either that, or take my car and risk having to park like 8 blocks from her apartment and walk through Harlem. But hey, I now can say I risked my life to bang the sexiest white chick in Harlem. Lol. Well worth it!

I was over in Jersey today at the Short Hills mall. Pretty high-priced stores. I think they still have separate water fountains over at that place! :icon_mrgr

Funny shit, cuz I was in Whitestone last night around 11pm (remember its a schoolnight) over by the Pathmark shopping center off the Whitestone expressway. I stopped to eat at the McDonalds and right outside "I am selling candy for my high school basketball team to buy jerseys" I laughed and walked in but my cousin wanted a candy bar, and the kid instead of trying to sell him candy asked him for a "donation"
Whats even funnier is you see these golfers on the subway during the summer selling for their "high school basketball team". Yeah lots of high schools have sports programs during the summer, maybe they should find another gimmick

The kids do this shit all the time in Boston. They hop on the Red Line trains between South Station and Park Street, do one pass of a train car, then get out before anybody gets wise. And it's not even any of those "special" fundraiser bars, either, you just know it's a case of peanut M&Ms that fell off the back of a truck or something.

Just a word of warning... If you do decide to buy candy off any golfers, be very careful how you pronounce Snickers. You don't want to leave any room for a misunderstanding.

I pray you all get a beating from mis-pronouncing Snickers.
