ih8uboo-boo... you need a USB motorola cable and a program called webjal. It works for i710s, i730s and up. Don't know about i530s though. Try howardforums.com and go to the iden forums. That's where I learned about webjal and ringtones for nextel phones.

If your phone supports mp3 tones, help yourself to some here http://www.3spades.net/oa/

you need to install a dev key and learn how to install dev apps in order to get them to act as ringtones on the csk/sk2
well, thats assuming you got ur sk2 w/ tmobile service... all other providers that carry the sk2 allow you to import your own ringtones w/o having to be a dev (once you install the dev key, you lose all software support from tmobile).

What exactly does loose all software support from tmobile mean? Will they just not give phone support, or will the programs I have downloaded from them not work anymore?

I have a program somewhere that converts files to ringtones. Then as long as you have a web-ready phone I can send you a download link via text message right to the phone. No software or cable needed. You'd just have to PM me your phone number, brand/model phone (some use different file formats), and what you want. Gimme a day or so to find the program and gather up some clips and I'll get back to you. I know this works on Sprint, Verizon, AT&T, and TMobile phones (May not work on the Sidekick, but we can try). Never tried it on a Nextel, so I can't guarantee that either - but again, we can try. Y

MonsterRain... not true!
I have a bunch of OnA ringtones in .wav format ready to go! How do we post attachments? I'd be more than happy to share or make any Nextel ready ringtones for free.
