I can't remember where I heard it, but I swear I heard that Patty wasn't alwasy the mess we remembered her being. I heard that she was a teacher and everything with a halfways decent life... and then it all went to shit and she latched on to O&A, and became the mess we all knew and loved to hate.
I dunno, Lady Di doesn't seem to have had that "I used ta be somebody" to get back to.
