A board member there posted this subsequently:

I only got to listen to one interview since I couldn't find the other live feeds. The one I listened to had DJ's who were terribly disrespectful!!! How can you invite someone who is an American icon onto your show and be so crude?! I am so glad I don't live in Portland and have to listen to their immature crap every morning!!!

KKRZ Portland, OR Buck, Rizza, Derek--all you people just wish you were as famous as Shatner. You are pathetic. http://www.williamshatner.com/modules/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_evil.gif

I sincerely hope that Bill found some interviewers with respect and tact (but mostly intelligence, which those idiots at KKRZ lack).
So, it would seem Bill's interview with O&A was after some crappy interviews earlier, and Bill had reason to be a little.....tetchy. :icon_wink

O&A's interview was first, as well it should have been.

I'm listening to the interview now, he said "I'm calling you guys first."

No, those times are Pacific, not Eastern. He was on O & A at 9:30 ET, which would be 6:30 PT--about a half-hour before his first interview listed on is site.

It could be, though, that he was a little annoyed about being disturbed to do the interview a half-hour before he thought he was going to start doing them, and was sceduled to do a phone-in every 8 minutes for most of the morning. Anthony telling him his old record was bad probably didn't start things off on the right foot, either.

edit: you guys beat me to the time zone thing.

kkrz i live in portland never heard of it. found out its (hold onto your hats) the Buck Head show morning zoo. thought id call in about the shatner interview and try to slip in some show references but spent 3 or 4 of the worst minutes of my life listening to them on hold and had to punch out.
