Rent one of those carpet cleaning machines from the local grocery store or local hardware stroe.

If you want to go the cheap route, get a bottle of resolve carpet cleaner.
Spray with Febreze when dry.

What don't I drink. My beer choices are Yuengling or if I'm drinking all day, Bud Light. I like the occasional scotch or brandy if I'm just looking for something to sip. I came across a drink I have enjoyed very much while reading your post Sexhoagie..

Vodka and Cranberry...nice mix..That could be the only reason why cranberry juice is

made, to enjoy with Absolute Vodka! Any-one out there try ICE WINE? It can be

hard to find but it is sweet and packs a fucking wallop!! During the process they use

frozen grapes to make the wine thus making the wine sweeter and stronger!!

I don't know much else about the process but if you like wine,then you have to try

this!

To make Icewine, the grapes are left on the vine until after the first frost hits. These grapes are harvested after being frozen in the vineyard and then, while still frozen, they are pressed. They must be picked early - before 10 a.m. During both of these processes the temperature cannot exceed -8 degrees C. At this temperature (-8 degrees C) the berries will freeze as hard as marbles. While the grape is still in its frozen state, it is pressed and the water is driven out as shards of ice. This leaves a highly concentrated juice, very high in acids, sugars and aromatics.


These are generally made from the Reisling grape, and the good ones are very expensive.

And it's actually called Eiswein.

The Captain goes great with all types of sodas. It is pretty much all I drink, Capt. and coke, Capt. and ginger ale basically. Now Captain Morgan Private Stock goes awesome in your coffee or straight in a glass with ice.

Here is a Winter party tip for all you Captains out there:

1 liter bottle of Captain Morgan's
1 gallon of apple cider
put both in one of those big coffee maker urns that people use at parties
add whip cream and cinnamon or a cinnamon stick.
Get completely sloppy(drunk) in seconds.

Most ski lodges make these and then send the masses back out on the slopes to crash into trees while catching a water bottle.

I plan on having some Victory Old Horizontal (barleywine style 11% abv) Victory Golden Monkey (belgium ale 9% abv) DogFish Head 60 minute IPA (Indian Pale Ale with plenty of hops for everyone 6% abv) and maybe I'll get some fruit beer like Magic Hat #9, Purple Haze, or Sea dog rasberry, or blueberry wheat ale.

Light beer huh? hmmmm ahhh, geee. Well Sam Adams light is a widely availible light beer, as is Yuengling light, and of course there is Amstell light, and saranac light. There are some very good, very un-common light beer out there that is not easy to find.

I just scored a case of Weyerbacher's Heresy, which is their Old Heathen Imperial Stout aged in Scotch barrels. One of the most intense beers I have ever had. You pretty much can't drink it right from the bottle; you have to let it breathe before you drink it. My girlfriend took a sip of it, and she thought her head was going to explode. Ahhhh, fun times.....

beer = miller lite.... however, here's how my tastes in beer have changed since i turned 21 (am now 26)....started with coors lite...then killian's irish red..then corona (w/ 2 limes)....then yuengling....then the miller

liqour = jose cuervo tequila
way too many fucked up memories (or lack thereof) with that shit. i don't drink it anymore because i do really REALLY stupid shit when i'm drunk on tequila.

mixed drink = electric lemonade
i dont drink this anymore, aside from maybe 1 or 2 during the summer for nostalgic purposes. one time i drank way too many of them and had eaten spinach with my dinner earlier that night. i puked up blue spinach all over my friend's kitchen counter. hilarity ensued.

fyi - very simple to make, tastes great and is blue. definitely for the sour lovers.
electric lemonade consists of the following...

- sour mix

"Whisky" is a chatchall phrase for an alcoholic liquor distilled from grain, such as corn, rye, or barley.

The "peaty" taste you refer to is common to Scotch, and is much stronger in the single malts like the aforementioned Glenmorangie and other famous brands like Macallan and Glenfiddich.

ok, i left my house shortly after my last post. as of this post, i have JUST returned home. i got really drunk, emptied my bank account, and decided it would be a good idea to meet some chick from the internet north of Albany, NY. i live in Elizabeth, NJ. not one of my brightest moments. the chick was pretty cool but i woke up so hungover after drinking for another 5 hours once i got there, that i just wanted to die. once i was feeling semi-human again, i got out of there and attempted to head home. once on the ny stat thruway (87) i realized i'd lost ALL MY MONEY. with 1/2 tank of gas left, i drove an hour south to poughkipsee (sp?), NY to see my long time friend mary at the culinairy institute of america (very prestegious culinary school for those that dont know) and stayed there for saturday night. had my dad drop some money in my bank account this morning, then had to drive back to jersey. forgot all my beer at mary's school (bummer) but went straight down to my dad's and helped him move into his new house, then got drunk again. and now i'm finally home as of 2am. what a drunken mess of a weekend. it was an adventure indeed, and upstate NY in the winter is positvely beautiful and revolting at the same time. i've left out so many details, and there are so many more that are really blurry. i could probably write something about this on my website, www.dangballs.com , when i get the first template going.

Well, holy shit. I drank Natty for 5 years at University of Cincinnati. Good to see that somebody else out there appreciates the sweet, sweet Natty. Ever notice how some batches of Natty are better tasting than others? I think Bud has the college dropouts working the quality control on the Natty, and they let shitty batches go through.

Anyway - Beer is by far number 1. Second would be Red Bull and Ketel One. Third - Jager bombs.

Anyway, I still dig Miller Lite for when I am out to get drunk. However, my dad and I brew our own beer, and that stuff is just great for having one or two with dinner.

I also like to kick back with some single malts - MacAllan, Caol Ila, Laphroaig, Talisker, etc. Nothing beats a spot of scotch and water to calm the nerves after a rough day.

My wife has been getting into drinking a "russ" which means Russian in German. It is 2/3 hefeveisen beer (wheat beer) and 1/3 lemonade. It is actually very good and refreshing and before you say pussy drink it still have more alcohol in it than American beer.

I like to stick to the hard stuff more myself though, I got a couple nice bottles of sambucca I'll be drinking this weekend for UFC 57 and the Super Bowl. And if I run out of that Captain morgans select and coke always hits the spot.
