Today on Comedy Central (Martin Luther King Jr day) They played an entire day of "Static Shock" Cartoons!
Now I like the show, but I was going huh? what if anything does this have to do with the person that this day is for? Yes The main character is Black and the storyline does tend to promote a positive image/attitude for African Americans. Beyond that I see no reason to have a marathon of the series.
I am white, I admit it freely, and I tend to be really conservative, but I couldn't help but feel that this would/could be percieved as a slap in the face by our nubian brothers.
But I could be wrong...
