This show is really broken this year. Anwar was clearly the best singer, followed by Constantine. How they can be gone and Cartman, Anthony, and that girl who should be on 'Country Stars' or whatever that dumb show is called are still on is beyond me. The only two decent contestants left are the Fonz and Bo. Either I'm too old to be watching this show, or they need to take the voting away from the fans. They should really consider that, because at the end of the day this show is about making money, and Anthony and Cartman aren't going to make them any money. Neither will Carrie when or if she signs with a country label.

I said the same thing to my wife last night. I thought Clay's jaw dropping one was 'Solitaire' which was not the finale though. Kelly's was I believe at around this point in the show, as was Fantasia's. I know I'm going to get killed for this, but I really liked Anthony's first performance last night. I thought it was his best so far and the best of the night by a long shot. Not jaw-dropping, but pretty good.

Vonzell may be staying tonight since she pulled that crying bullshit last night. Symapthy is a powerful emotion and she pulled that card out at the right time.

Fandango, I thought Clay's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" was his one definining performance. That was the one time I had ever heard him and thought he could actually pull off the American Idol title. Before I just thought he was a Broadway reject.

Kelly's I think was "Without You" and that was the week before the finale when Randy chose that song for her. That, or "Natural Woman" which was earlier in the season.

As for Fantasia, I couldn't stand her and never once I really liked her. But "Summertime" was her one song that got the praise, I believe.

Bo totally deserves to win this year. Although I predict that whoever wins, Bo and Carrie will both get really good record deals out of this, sort of like when Ruben won but Clay still got the record deal as well.

Carrie and Bo are so different stylistically that its really going to come down to who is doing the voting. Sadly, that means Vonzell may stand a chance, because shes also completely different stylistically than the other two.

But as far as raw talent, Bo is by far the winner in both vocals and style, Carrie is awesome technically but lacks a little in style points so far (that can at least be fixed with a good image consultant) and Vonzell is the weakest singer (I think even weaker than alot of the people who are already gone) but she has some sort of style appeal that I don't personally understand (i think shes extremely fake) but that apparently appeals to a broad base.

Ruben was/is an R&B singer and has already been forgotten. Same for Fantasia. Bo's certainly not a pop singer, and any success Carrie will have will be in country. That leaves Vonzell as the only true pop singer left in the competition. While they're finding decent singers for different genres, this isn't what the show is supposed to be about. If everyone's right and Vonzell is voted off tonight, what you'll have left are two people who won't sell a million albums between them. I find it hard to believe the record companies that are forced to sign the winner will be too pleased with that. Everyone may think Carrie's great on this show, but put her up against the current female stars of country music and she isn't even close. I don't even know what the hell they'd be able to do with Bo as a winner. He might be able to find a home in a Lynard Skynard tribute band, but I don't really see him as the next Rob Thomas.

Agreed, I will say Vonzell has probably worked the hardest by doing the harder songs unlike the other two. Either way they will all get some kind of contract.

While I won't say that Bo stinks I am getting tired of him. He reminds me of some bad 70s rocker and I think Simon is right everytime he mentions the performances sounding like a wedding singer...

Bo has the best chance of doing/being something original. He's got the best chance to put a band together, write his own stuff, and tour.

Carrie should probably come in 2nd. I've said from the start of this season that regardless of where she places in the competition she'll walk away with a nice country recording contract. She's just like every other female pop/country star today.

I actaully called to vote for Bo this week b/c I can't stand ol' no stage presence Carrie. She does the exact same thing every song...Stands there, barely smiles and Switches hands with the microphone every 30 seconds. Bo has life...He is a performer. Carrie belongs in the back of a church choir. Once again Idol played favorites this week. For the last 2 weeks Carrie has been off on the final note of her song, but when they do the recap they use the rehersal footage(or something because it was different BOTH weeks) and she was dead on on the note...In the recap last night she wasn't even crying, but live she had tears in her eyes...This pisses me off so much. They don't want bo to win because he isn't as marketable. Bo did a fantastic job on that long road home song, Carrie was not that good...She is pretty, but has gotten worse and worse as the weeks went on...I wish that Bo would win. He is so much more talented...

Side note: My wife heard somewhere that Kelly Clarkson became a real diva cunt since she hit it big. If you noticed this season, the judges have all said things like "You are really nice behind the scenes." "Winning this won't change you." etc. Simon had once said that his favorite all-time was Fantasia b/c she was still the same person she was when she first started the contest. Considering they barely mentioned her this season, even though she has a pretty big record out, probably lends credence to my wife's story.
