100 episodes would be a pretty big dvd set, they would probably put 4 episodes on a disk, 25 disks, at maybe $40 for a set of 5, giving them $200 per customer. Thats my guess at least.
F'in comedy central and those retarded people who decide to program the only channel i watch on cable.

4 episodes a disc? Chappelles Show dvd has like 18.(or something like that.) Anyways, hope they release some of the shows. Good times.

yeah, they did have a 200th episode a few months before the show got cancelled. i'd love to see tough crowd on dvd, but why would you put 4 episodes per disc?

On average thats what I have seen dvd's to contain. 4 episodes of anything on a dvd. And I am also sure those bastards would love to maximize any possible profit they can pull from people.

Generally speaking a DVD can hold 2 - 4 hours of video. Tough crowd had something like 3 - 4 commercial breaks that each lasted 3.5 - 4 minutes. So without the commercials the episodes could be from 19.5 minutes to 14 minutes long. I think they could probably put quite a few episodes per disk given these facts:
1) Comedy Central's release of and Upright Citizens Brigade Season 1 had 6 on one disk(the season was only 10 episodes).
2) Tough Crowd had less program time than UCB.

I hope this happens, as I would have probably enjoyed the show more without having to sit through commercials.

But the thing about Tough Crowd was it was a current events show. When you watched it, it was about what was currently going on. It would feel weird watching it and some of the stuff their talking about to not be currently going on

true, but like I Love the 80's (and 70's and FUCKING 90's!), the irreverent commentary on events sticks with you. and any show with Meat Tits McGee and Patrice is a good damn show.

I wish somebody would of thought to call in and ask Mr. Quinn when he was there.
