How many people have you guys got to join the O&A Amry?

I work part time at a car audio shop in Ohio and i can tell you first hand that O&A sells. 90% of potential XM radio listners decide to buy in when I let them Listen to the show. It's time for XM to wake up and relize this. Plus O&A fans are so passionate about the show that they feel it's their duty to tell everyone they know about it. I'm positive that more people buy XM having heard an O&A story than about "how great the music is". We got our new XM displays in today also. They sent us a 4' tall cardboard channel listing, a wall hanging ad which actually has the cartoon O&A about 10" tall right in the middle, and two O&A t-shirts. That kinda surprised me.

Back to the actual topic I have got 3 people to listen in my personal life and maybe 15 customers

I've gotten alot of old listeners back into the loop who didn't know they were back, didn't know they were on XM.

My sweet baboo liked O&A so much that I bought her a SkiFi2, subbed her to 202, and now we compare chuckles, snorts, and cringes from our morning and afternoon drive times.

The whole experience has brought this family closer together. :-)

Driving around N.Y.C. area, if I see an old WNEW sticker, I give them the X-M one or put it under their wiper blade if it's parked. I've done at least 30 so far!
And when I was at the station, Steve (that wonderful bear!) gave me a couple Truck stickers (I'll post a pic when I get a chance) they're like 18" + 10" WOW stickers on the sides of my van. Steve gave me one of the few left! (They HAVE to make more of those, I'd pay whatever I'd have to, to defray the cost! ) Hint: Don't apply in 11 degree weather, the thin vinyl gets brittle and shatters!! (I cryed like a baby, A big fat baby!)

You could have asked one of us. We could have toe'd you that it would be too cold to to apply a sticker in that cold weather.

Since my sticker stop, I think I had about 80-90 stickers left over, they are on various drive through windows, bar restroom stalls, and stop signs. Still going.

Also, if I had the means to burn the shows on CD, which I don't becasue it doesn't seem like it would be the ethical thing to do, I would burn some of the best shows, and give them out to the people at work that wonder what the hell I am laughing at all day with my earphones on. That is If I had the means, not like you can get files of the show or anything.

I just started a league on ESPN fantasy games. It's for the game "Big Game Showdown". Test your prognostication skills by answering questions in relation to the Super Bowl.
League name: O&A on XM 202
Motto: Spreading the Virus

I got one of my friends to buy it since he was a big O&A fan from WNEW. He was a little hesitant but I convinced him it was worth it. He already has traded in his Roady 2 for a MyFi and gotten a bunch of his friends hooked as well.

Another of my friends was a big Stern fan and when I saw him over Thanksgiving he looked at my Roady 2 and was talking about Sirius. I talked about the virtues of XM and a few days later he bought a SkiFi 2.

Still working on a few of my other friends.

This grassroots campaigning is fun and all but you think that XM would help us out a bit. Or are they too busy coming up with catchy little nicknames for each other?

O&A weren't on long enough to gain a huge following in cleveland (especially not an hour south of cleveland where I am), but I've seen 3 or 4 wow stickers on various cars, all but one of them were the old 923 extreme stickers. Each time I see one I slip a note under the wiper blade stating that O&A are on XM now.

Keep it to a minimum, just to spread the virus and get folks hooked. Then when they need a regular fix, make sure they buy XM. That's the only way to really help the boys.

Oh, I'm not taping show after show and selling them on the streets of Manhattan. When I think someone might get it, I give them a sample, like the first day's show......
