Show Open
• Op says they are just tired today, after all the meetings. He says they are not a good “road team”. Ant says they will be better when they are doing the shows in New Orleans, since it will be afternoon shows.
• They also talk about Elo, and how the XM thing is that everyone has an “O” added at the end of their name.
• Talk about the meetings after the show. First up, they talked to the technical people. They said they felt like the stupidest people talking to all the tech geeks. Steve C. caused an argument by asking why they can’t use Mac computers, which a lot of production guys feel comfortable using.

He was working some production after the show, and he cut into the guy’s time, and the guy came and cursed at him. They say that some of it comes from resentment that they get top end equipment in NY, and a lot of the guys in DC get nickel and dimed when they request equipment. He describes the guy as looking like Jimmy, but shorter with a beard:

• Caller talks about the good old days when kids got disciplined by their parents. Ant remembers his dad hanging a belt on his door to get him and his brother to shut up at bedtime
• They talk about auditioning news guys today, to read the news on the program. They bring in one of their “runners”, Ari, who does some of the college sports stuff on XM. They tell him to put together a newscast, so he can tryout for being a newsman. Jim gets him as he leaves the studio. Ant talks about how bad Jimmy got a busboy at the restaurant last night, and that Jimmy was scaring women with a camera flash at the bathroom restaurant. Ant starts talking about the “hip bathrooms” and how they are starting to lose their functionality. Op talks about taking a leak at a decorative waterfall instead of at the actual urinal in a hip bathroom.
• Op talks about seeing the Mad Mexican this morning, and how he was hyper at five in the morning. Op says he has jellybeans in his cubicle, which he thinks is his way of getting women to come socialize.
Break
• Op says that people at the XM compound come to work and never leave the compound until the end of the day. He also says that another employee stopped by to show them baby pictures.
• Op brings up a story about a lady that tried to kill herself on the 59th street Bridge. He can’t properly read the story, because the printer is cutting the end of sentences off just like in NY.
• Caller – has a similar story as Opie’s urinal story in reverse, he tried to wash his hand in the urinal. Call goes nowhere.
• Ari comes in to do his news segment, and they start playing the teletype sound for him. They say his name is too ethnic. He starts doing his report, and tries a Michael Jackson – Woodsman joke *crash*.

• Bruce Kelly, one of the DJs from the 80’s channel comes in to ask why they have an intern doing the news. He tells them that Ari is low on the totem pole at XM, so much so that they took his desk away from him. Bruce also talks about seeing Op and Ant when they were here a couple of years back when they were first visiting XM, and they talk about the picture they took at the time.
• They bring in Dee Dee, and Bruce says don’t let her talk yet, until she is ready to read the news. Op says they will take a break, let her change the headlines and then let her read the news.

• Back, Op explains that the reason that they are trying out news people is that Elo suggested that they add a news person to “take the show to the next level”. Bruce Kelly says that they will get a kick out of her voice.
• After Steve has to chase her down, they finally get Dee Dee on. She starts reading the news, and it turns out she has a high pitched baby voice. She tries a helium joke *crash*. They can’t believe that this is her real voice. She tells them that her name is “Cricket” on the XM kids station. Then she laughs, and they realize that she snorts when she laughs. They all start snorting while she reads the news. They say that she rocks, and Op says she will definitely be a fixture on the program. Jimmy gets her as she walks out.

• DJ from the 60s station comes in studio, to say hello to the guys. He talks very very fast. .He tells them one of his firing stories. They also ask them to show his skill, which is saying the alphabet backwards. Steve C reads the alphabet forwards, and the guy reads it backwards faster. He leaves just as the Mad Mexican stops by again.

Ant says being on this jury is a moneymaking thing, but most people can’t afford to take the six months it will take for the length of the case. Op says everybody with something to do will try to find a way to get out of jury duty. Op reads some of the excuses that potential jurors gave to get out of being on the jury.

Jimmy says he loves his one word at a time delivery, Ant says it’s the William Shatner delivery. He tells a story about Snoop “Dizzle” *crash*. They play the hulk music for him so he can just ‘walk away’.

Jimmy does his new “story goes nowhere” gag, and also gets him as he leaves. Ben says that Chris seems like he really didn’t like Jimmy.
• Op comments on all their guests canceling. Ant says he is in the “I wanna go home” mood. Jimmy talks about being at the hotel, and the maids called him even though he put the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door
• “Funny Voice” Dee Dee comes back in, and does her laugh snort again. Op asks her about “SpongeBab” (intentional misspelling) being gay. They ask her about what she does on XM Kids.
