Ok I got my new truck a 1997 Ford F-150. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where and how I can install my SkyFi?

Best Buy. And I believe they will uninstall it for free if you get a new one in the future, Dont quote me on that though.

I took my car to a shop that specializes in car stereos and spinnies and all of that good stuff.
They have a plate-of-sorts that fits perfectly into the XM module.
It's mounted through the dash and sits perfectly next to the radio slightly angled towards the driver.
You can't see anything except your SkyFi.
It's definately a sweet little set up.

The mounting kit that XM gives you with your SkyFi is a piece of crap.
I recommend to seek out this other method.

Since you're in Queens, I'm sure there's quite a few car-stereo shops around.
Pop into one and see what they can do for installation.

Best Buy or Circuit City is the worst place to take anything car audio related to get installed...99.9% of those installers are morons and they do a half assed job I've had to fix so many of their fuck ups in other peoples cars its not even funny. DIY its not really that hard but if you insist at least go to a reputable stereo shop. I'm not familair with the F150 dash maybe a pic would help.
