• They talk about banana phone, and about how it was stuck in their head. Ant talks about seeing flash videos with the song online.
• They play the original banana phone song. Turns out the version that they are playing is actually the original sped up
• Op says that all the interns are rolling their eyes because of what Noah is wearing. He says that maybe Steve or Ben need to be fired, because they interviewed him and didn’t pick up on how odd he is. They talk about Noah’s outfit. Ben comes in to his theme song, to explain what Noah is wearing. He says that Noah was at the office even earlier than him and Steve were. He also says that Noah was normal on his interview, then changed afterwards. Noah comes in, and Ben says this is all just an act.

• Caller – says he wants them to play banana phone to get Noah’s song out of his head.
• Op says they were thinking of having Noah read from Rent Boys as a punishment, but they think it might be too easy. Ant explains Rent Boys as a “steamy book”. Ant also says how long before Noah comes in with the gimp suit from Pulp Fiction.
• They talk about American Idol. They play audio of two people from last night, one who sounds like a woman. Jimmy says he watched it last night and was kind of getting into it.

Break

• They talk about their upcoming interview on CBS which will be shown on Super Bowl Sunday
• They start talking about the Super Bowl commercials, and that there weren’t be a lot of interesting ads this year because of fear of the FCC.
• They also talk about their interview with Donnie Deustch, and that they don’t know when it will air.
• Op brings up their trip to New Orleans, and that they will be using wireless mikes to broadcast because they will be on a thin balcony, with no room for a broadcast table and regular mikes.
• They bring Noah in, to read from Rent Boys and Penthouse.

They talk about how they couldn’t find the book after not using it for a few months, because no-one wanted to fess up to knowing where it was. They said they will have to bring Steve in to talk about his imaginary friend Ramon that he uses in the promos to and from break. Noah starts reading the Penthouse forum letter. Op says that was the worst reading he has ever heard. Jimmy flubs a Walter Cronkite line. Next, Noah has to read Rent Boys. They ask Ben what’s a good gay club in Manhattan, since Ben knows all the places in NY, Ben tells them a bar on Christopher Street – Op plays Rick’s Christopher street song. After Noah reads the Rent Boys paragraph, Ant says he seems more comfortable reading the Rent Boys paragraph than the Penthouse reading.

• Jay London for “Last Comic Standing” will be appearing on the show shortly, after going through the Master Po security checks.
• Caller – calls in to defend Noah. They ask him why it bothers him; he says he had some similar stuff happen to him, and that he experimented when he was younger. Turns out when he was 10 he messed with by a 13 year old boy, and it continued until he was 17. Op says that he is gay, but he says that he prefers women now. Ant says that all the IF are saying that this guy is lying.
• They talk about the plane crash from yesterday, and that no one who was involved in it died. Op says that these days it seems like a lot of the private planes are involved in crashes these days.
• Caller – the weird guy from before calls back. Op says it sounds like this guy has major issues, but Ant and Jimmy says it sounds like he is trying to be a wacky character guy.
• Op asks where is one of today’s guests, the lady who is supposed to come on and sing dirty songs. Op starts saying that Master Po is fucking up the program, with the long security check. Steve C comes in to explain why it takes so long. Op asks Steve about his imaginary friend “Ramon” from the promos. Steve explains where it comes from. They bring in the interns to ask them what they think their profile of what Ramon looks like. Nathaniel thinks he would look like the short guy from Fantasy Island (Herve Villachez).

Steve also says he is from Central America. Op says that people should start sending in drawings of what Ramon looks like.

• Back from break, they talk about the dirty song girl. Op says it turns out that Jimmy is the one responsible for bringing this girl in, because she is a friend of his. They bring her in, and with Jay London at the same time.
• Op talks about seeing Jay perform and not realizing how funny he was until then. He also talks about driving cabs and doing his comedy sets at the same time. Ant says he hates cabbies that talk a lot. He tells a story about putting room service garbage in his luggage, and everyone thinking it was a bomb.

Op says he wants to set up an audience of interns in the studio, so that Jay can do some of his act on air, because of the uniqueness of it. They ask him about Jay Mohr, and they talk about the stories of Jay Mohr back at WNEW, where he may or may not have been banging a whore called “Chocolate”.
• Back to the in studio “comedy club”, they start setting up the studio so Jay can do his set. They notice Henry Winkler on TV, and talk about how he will always be known as the Fonz. While this is going on, they talk to their office manager(?) about clearing out the “dead weight” in the office, so they can have more space
• Jessica, the dirty song girl, plays one of her songs “clits of my tits”. The song gets an “Ok, terrific” sound byte. Op says he was hoping Noah had another song to play after hearing it

• Back from break, they try to decide on a name for their in studio club.

They start the intro like Caroline’s , with Ant doing the Club voice over, and Nathaniel as the MC. They start heckling Nathaniel like they would at a club, and he does a few jokes. Jay London then comes on and does some of his set. Jessica then does a joke, as well as Jimmy.
• Jessica does another one of her songs.
• Op takes her CD to play one of her songs “Haunted Pussy”, and he plays banana phone instead.
• Danny’s Mix of the reporter that fell while stomping grapes into break

• Back from break, Opie says that Club Soda Kenny will be filling in for Jimmy Norton tomorrow.
• Henry Rollins calls in. They talk to him about Iraq. They also talk about comedy, and about Richard Pryor. Rollins rubs Jimmy the wrong way by downplaying Jimmy’s knowledge of Pryor, who is Jimmy’s all time favorite comedian. Jimmy gets him twice with his “my friend” gag. Rollins later explains that he didn’t mean to shit on Jimmy and comedians in general when he was talking before.

• They talk about Bush’s State of the Union Address.
