but are there any other guilds on your server that don't blow asshole? apply to them. in my expirience, mages are the biggest flakes and get replaced constantly. my guild brings 2 to raids and has gone through about 10 in the 3 months i've been there.

yeah it's really easy to lvl. that druid i started a couple days ago is already 45. also that vengeful glad gear is really nice. too bad they changed it to where all glad gear is under the same set, so you can't have 2 pieces of merciless for +35 res and 2 piecies of vengeful for an additional +35 res; they fixed it to what it was intended to do.

You can just Download the CD from Blizzard and you only need one patch for WOW and you would need to download the latest patch for BC. I just did it and it didn't take all day like I expected it to do.

For the most part, 25 man forces alot of people to wake up and stop being lazy. Back in the day, 40 man pretty much allowed slackers to ride on the coat tails of people who used consumables and such. A properly geared T4~ group can easily take down Void/Loot Reaver, as it's probably the easiest and first boss to be taken down in the TK/SSC ready group.

should be easy to get non-epic ground mount, then from 50-58 you'll make reasonable gold and 58-60 will be good in outlands. for my first char on a server usually takes me till 61 or 62 with no help to get epic-ground mount. then you'll have plenty for a non-epic flying.

I'm up to 250ish gold now at lvl 32. I made a ****** off the Gingerbread cookies quest. Instead of farming the small eggs themselves for hardly any time, and making them with holiday spices for 50c... peeps paid 3 gold per stack of 5 cookies the first day.

After a few days it went down to about 50-60 silver. Still a shit ton of profit on it, and I took advantage. :)

I'm up to 250ish gold now at lvl 32. I made a ****** off the Gingerbread cookies quest. Instead of farming the small eggs themselves for hardly any time, and making them with holiday spices for 50c... peeps paid 3 gold per stack of 5 cookies the first day.

After a few days it went down to about 50-60 silver. Still a shit ton of profit on it, and I took advantage. :)

i just dont understand the appeal of pve. there is no excitement while leveling. An O&A guild leveling on a pve server =/ ...just doesnt seem right. It shoulda been all about ganking and causing havok, being annoying, etc etc. You really can't do anything fun on a pve server other than end-game stuff (which will take forever for any decent amount of guildies to get to 70). Sure dungeons while leveling are fun, but pvp server opens up tons more options.

I think you misunderstood me. When I said 'i just dont understand the appeal of pve', I was referring to pve servers. I've pve'd it up haha a lot. I've been in a top raiding guild since 3 weeks into wow, killed almost every boss in the game (couldnt get saph/KT before TBC), and we had Illidan down the first week of september. I love healing and tanking also (my 2 70s druid/warr).

My point is, a PvE server just puts restrictions on what you can do when compared to a pvp server. I've always been a pve guy and agree that more pve content will be added than a battleground here or there (which is good).

Im becoming a hardcore PvP/Raider. My guild is starting to progress into Gruuls now, with some luck. By the time Resia hits 70 and is attuned, we will have Kara on total farm status (were pretty much there already) and be most of the way through Gruuls, Im hoping. However, I LOVE ganking people. Weve raided Thousand Needles and Tarren Mill quite a few times now and had a blast doing it. I, personally, dont like PvE servers at all. I see why people play them (especially casual players), but Id rather chance being ganked for the ability to ride into a horde town and destroy the place.

I can say the same thing about alliance, too. Both sides have their bonuses (not as much as before BC, though....fucking BE pallies), and both sides are full of retards as well. At this point, to me it really doesnt matter much of a fuck if youre horde or alliance, theyve nerfed almost every benefit to the individual factions. Im happy with my guild and my toon.

But for grinding I always used battle stance and hit bloodrage then battle shout then used charge, demoralizing shout, thunder clap, rend (although your getting close to the level where rend isn't worth the rage you use), then I would spam sunder armor till I had max stack, then spam heroic strike till I could use execute then spam that.

When you're tanking you want to use a defensive stance with a shield. Remember it's all about keeping aggro and not so much DPS. But that's where you would use stuff like shield bash and challenging shout. Thunder clap is also good for regaining aggro you may have lost.

Well, my first suggestion would be to completely redo your talents. Unless your PvPing, there's no reason to have Weapon Mastery, also, I personally never used cleave. It's not instant cast, It's situational, costs 20 rage, and the points spent to improve it can be spent in better places, like commanding presence. Lastly in my talent build critique, Blood Craze SUCKS. At your current level, you don't even have 3k health.. but for the moment, lets say you do. Let's say you get crit for about 150. 3% of 3k is 90. After 6 seconds (which would probably end up in another 1-2 attacks) that damage would be reduced to only 60. In the end you are down more than Blood Craze healed you for, because you are limited to your own health, which you wouldn't be stacking stamina anyways as a DPS spec.

Also, start keeping some good 1h weapons. I've heard some warriors go 2H Fury spec, but personally I think it's just splitting hairs when there's just as good talents in the Arms tree.

I used to be Arms spec on my warrior, Until I decided to try DW Fury spec, and I LOVE the power I have. Bloodthirst absolutely rocks. It may cost 30 rage, but it's an instant, restores health (although small, still helps) and you get rage quicker as you would be DW most likely in fury. My usual attack (as a 59 warrior) goes change -> Beserker stance -> Bloodthirst -> Whirlwind -> Bloodthirst -> Whirlwind, and repeat from there, using Rampage when it's up or getting low on the buff timer.

Even if you aren't thinking about DWing, I'd still change your talents. If you want to go DW, change your points to this (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LZVVzmxxoVk). From there, finish up points in Precision, get Imp Berserker stance, and finally rampage. With Rampage and the improved Battle shout up, I have about 1.2k AP.

If you want to stick with 2H weapons, try Fury (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LZVVzmMxRVd), which isn't much different from your current build, just taking out some of the weaker ones, or Arms (http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LIG0dAio00d). Personally I don't like Arms as much as i used to after switching to Fury, as MS requires more rage than you are probably going to get compared to DW fury, but it's still an option for the burst dmg and Blood Frenzy for melee based parties and raids. Get second wind and finish the tree down, and spend the rest of the points you get as you level in the 2H Fury build i suggested.

Shield bash does NOT generate threat, Shield SLAM does (I made this mistake too when I first started tanking). Also, Challenging shout should only be used in situations where multiple enemies are attacking people they shouldn't be, as it's on a 10 min cooldown. I DO recommend though, when Crowd Control is not being used in the immediate area, using Thunderclap first off, then spamming sunder on targets. If you are tanking multiple targets, first use Thunderclap, then get a couple sunders on your first target, then a sunder or two on your second. Just enough so it doesn't go after your healer. After hate is established, resume spamming sunders on your primary target. After you have 5 sunders, start using heroic strikes, and occasionally a sunder to refresh the timer.

When I'm tanking, I like to switch to Berserker stance, use Berserker Rage, switch back to battle stance and charge, then switch back to defensive stance to use the right tanking skills. The reason for this is you will get extra rage when you are getting hit, thus able to get threat quicker, and you can still use your bloodrage ability.

Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I'm doing. I don't bother with rend anymore. But that's nearly exactly what I do for the big fights. 5 sunders, dem shout, thunderclap, then spam HS.

I guess I really don't need the rest then. If it works, why worry.

But PVP is different. Tried doing things like that in a battleground, and it SUCKED. The fights are just way too fast to get the upper hand on a fight. So all I keep doing now is just tagging people with hamstring. I die a LOT.

When I'm tanking, I like to switch to Berserker stance, use Berserker Rage, switch back to battle stance and charge, then switch back to defensive stance to use the right tanking skills. The reason for this is you will get extra rage when you are getting hit, thus able to get threat quicker, and you can still use your bloodrage ability.

The only thing i've thought about changing is moving the 5 points from reckoning to ardent defender when I start raiding and/or doing heroics with him.

I love reckoning, but reckoning + windfury gives mobs a lot of chances to parry and do dmg to me.

Sniping transfer items on the neutral AH is actually pretty damn brilliant. I wish id thought of it. Im gonna try it anyway, though.

You definately should level fury from 60-70, and id say where u are now it wouldnt hurt at all now. Fury is pure beast for leveling because of bloodthirst and rage generation. The health leeching from Fury lead you to not have to stop to eat as much. I would do exactly what monstercloud suggested. The biggest hinder of Fury pre-raid gear is having enough +hit. Thats why 3/3 precision is a must. Only difference is i would get 2/2 weapon mastery instead of some points in imp bezerkers stance. Reducing the chance your attacks will be dodged by 2% actually adds to your +hit%, which is very helpful when leveling and not having a ton of +hit.

PVP MS build is pretty standard, just varies on what weapon u use. here i am from when i played: MS build (http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Shattered+Hand&n=Torotank)



Shield bash does NOT generate threat, Shield SLAM does (I made this mistake too when I first started tanking). Also, Challenging shout should only be used in situations where multiple enemies are attacking people they shouldn't be, as it's on a 10 min cooldown. I DO recommend though, when Crowd Control is not being used in the immediate area, using Thunderclap first off, then spamming sunder on targets. If you are tanking multiple targets, first use Thunderclap, then get a couple sunders on your first target, then a sunder or two on your second. Just enough so it doesn't go after your healer. After hate is established, resume spamming sunders on your primary target. After you have 5 sunders, start using heroic strikes, and occasionally a sunder to refresh the timer.




Only other thing i would add is for tanking:
A lot of people beleive that the key, and the only key to tanking is spamming sunders to 5x, then just doing whatever and refreshing it. The primary ability, as a tank (especially when tanking in a raid situation) should be Shield Block. This should be activated the millisecond it comes up on your GCD, aka every 5seconds. Crushing blows can really put a hurt on a tank, and shield (especially imp shield block if ur prot) block will prevent you from getting crushed by a boss, unless he hits really fast but then likely his attacks arent as hard. Also, shield block will always lead to revenge being up, which is HUGE threat.

Tanking as prot, you should to prioritize shield block, revenge, and shield slam before sunders. Ideally when you are in the groove, a rotation would be something like: Shield block, Shield slam, revenge, sunder/devastate, shield block, etc etc. it takes you longer to get to 5x sunders, but ur TPS is a lot higher. There should be a threat ability almost always up, and then with spare rage u can use it on heroics to just add to the threat generation.

And I'd definately shield block before stance dancing to pop berserker rage, because taking a crushing blow in beserker stance could be deadly on a boss.

I know were discussing the boss after Leo for SSC on our guild forums. The consensu at the moment is for a druid tank due to crushing blows, or a warrior with max evasion gear on. I think were waiting on improved gear before taking a crack at Kael for the first time. As out application puts it "we are a causual guild that just happens to be progressing". Progression isnt our goal, having fun is, and we can progress while we do it.

this is very similar to WoW and makes the time at work go fast. its a free kinda text based game with an entire arena ladder, upgradable weapons/armors/jewelery, enchants, guilds, etc.

its very addictive and easy to do at work or whenever u have a few minutes because u dont need to be there active much.

An Australian woman is facing child abduction charges in the US after trying to bring her 17-year-old World of Warcraft boyfriend back to Oz.

Tamara Broome, a 31-year-old university student, was arrested on June 26 after she flew from Adelaide to the boy's home in Greenville, North Carolina to pick up her internet beau.

Broome allegedly had an online relationship with the boy for more than a year, which began in the online game World of Warcraft. The two had also exchanged copious amounts of email and even discussed marriage.

The Azerothian love-affair has sent Broome to Pitt County Detention Centre where she will get a July 11 court date. Police have seized her laptop computer and charged Broome with attempting to abduct a child. If convicted she will face more than two years in a US jail. Broome is currently being held on a $2.35m bond.

(WoW equipment could not be seized by authorities, as it is soulbound.)

According to Australian news sources (http://www.news.com.au/adelaidenow/story/0,22606,22008677-910,00.html), Broome's relatives allege the teenager's parents set her up, even springing for the [air fare] to frame her.

But Pitt County Sheriff detectives call the allegations "ridiculous," claiming they will not discuss who fronted for the ticket "because that's part of the evidence, we can't get into that."

Authorities became involved when the parents reported the boy missing June 12. He was found later that day at Raleigh-Durham International Airport trying to catch a flight to Australia to see the woman. Investigators later discovered that Broome was coming to the US and apprehended her as she stepped of a train at Rocky Mount station in North Carolina.

Under North Carolina law, a minor is considered someone under the age of 18.

Besides, any WoW player could tell you in a 18/31 spread, the experience would be lousy anyway. ®

yeah in my opinion 4/5 hyjal and about 3/9 bt is very easy to attain even mostly kara/ssc/tk geared (except archi of course). it's definitely rewarding, despite being a game, when you as a guild finally downs content.

Yeah, it was definately satisfying. Were going back into Hyjal tonight, too, and Im really hoping Im in on the run. Last I looked we had 3 or 4 hunters signed up. The GM has already said I can easily hack it in SSC/TK now, and he was impressed with my DPS in Hyjal. Now to just hope to see Rage downed again tonight!

As a side not, anyone that is in a guild looking at starting Hyjal: even though the attunement is no longer required, you have to do the attunement quest (get the quest, then down Vashj and Kael) before you can get your rep ring for Scale of the Sands. Kinda sucks that they didnt remove the pre-req for the rings.

from what was stated in clips you will be able to create one (1) DK per account you have and it will start at lvl 55. It will include a lvl 40 mount as well as adequate gear to get you going.

they also state that flying will be available in northrend but it won't be unlocked until lvl 77.

Death Knight Class Information

The fearsome death knight, World of Warcraft’s first Hero class, is not your average adventurer seeking to prove his or her worth on Azeroth’s fields of battle. No longer servants of the Lich King, they begin their new calling as experienced, formidable adversaries, heavily armed and armored and possessing an arsenal of deadly and forbidden magic learned in the Lich King’s thrall. Here is an introduction, subject to change, of some of the death knight’s core gameplay mechanics and abilities:
Unlocking and Creating the Death Knight

Simply have a character of at least level 55 on the World of Warcraft account you play, and you will be able to create a new level-55 death knight of any race (if on a PvP realm, the death knight must be the same faction as your existing character). Upon entering the world, your neophyte death knight will undertake a series of quests designed to teach you your new abilities. You will be able to create one death knight per realm, per account.

Class Roles

* Tank: The plate-wearing death knight is a capable tank for small groups as well as raids. His or her damage output while tanking will be respectable.
* DPS: The death knight can also spec and gear for a melee DPS role, which will draw upon many debilitating disease effects as well as direct damage and instant attacks.

Talent Trees

Death knight talent trees are complemented by Presences -- self-only auras that benefit the death knight. Selecting the matching Presence for each tree augments the class abilities for that school of magic.

* Blood: Talents in this tree focus on damage-dealing abilities. Blood Presence increases damage output by a percentage.
* Frost: Talents in this tree focus on tanking abilities. Frost Presence increases threat and lowers damage taken by a percentage.
* Unholy: Talents in this tree have a variety of functions including summons, diseases, and PvP-focused abilities. Unholy Presence increases attack speed and reduces the global cooldown on death knight abilities.

The Rune System

The resource mechanics for death knights are runes and runic power. A skilled death knight makes efficient, timely use of runes and runic power to maximize his or her damage-dealing or tanking abilities.

* Runes: Every death knight ability requires runes, which come in three varieties: blood, frost, and unholy. Depending on the ability, it may require runes of a single type or a combination of types. When a rune is used, it has a cooldown period before it can be used again. Death knights can customize which array of six runes to have available at a given time, which can aid their ability to perform certain roles. For example, a tanking death knight may wish to load his or her rune array with more Frost runes.
* Runic Power: As rune abilities are used, the death knight also generates another resource called runic power. The death knight will have certain abilities that consume all available runic power, with varying levels of effectiveness based on total runic power spent. Similar to a warrior’s rage, runic power decays over time if not spent.

Summoned Creatures

Creating minions from the ranks of the unliving is a core ability of the death knight.

* Raise Dead: The death knight can raise a ghoul companion from the corpses of fallen creatures, as well as those of both friendly and enemy players. If cast on a friendly player, that player will have the opportunity to actually play as the ghoul, controlling its movements and actions.
* Army of the Dead: This channeled spell raises a group of undead followers who will attack the death knight’s enemies but only exist very briefly before disintegrating.
* Summon Deathcharger: Every death knight can summon the level-40 version of a deathcharger land mount. At higher levels, they can complete a quest to learn the epic version.

I'm starting to get extremely pissed off at this fucking game. We run Kara blind now. As long as we have like 4 or 5 of our core members we finish one night 4-5 hours.

Problem is the people. Fucking can't count on people to show up for 25 mans, can't count on people to want to spec the proper way to do runs, everyone wants easy purples and they get frustrated when we have to learn new bosses and shit.

The same thing that makes the game innovative can also make the game a major drag when you have asshole guildies.

I'm starting to get extremely pissed off at this fucking game. We run Kara blind now. As long as we have like 4 or 5 of our core members we finish one night 4-5 hours.

Problem is the people. Fucking can't count on people to show up for 25 mans, can't count on people to want to spec the proper way to do runs, everyone wants easy purples and they get frustrated when we have to learn new bosses and shit.

The same thing that makes the game innovative can also make the game a major drag when you have asshole guildies.
