Why is it that my Imac won't open certain attachments? I have explorer 5.2 and safari.

What attachments in particular? What are the extensions on the files?

My boss emailed me a work schedule. My agents email adobe acrobat reader attachments that I can sometimes open with explorer but not with safari. My brother in law emailed me a flight itinarary(sp?), couldn't open it with either. I'm kind of computer retarded so bare with me if I sound like a shitdick.

I don't know what to tell you because I don't use Macs. It's a religious thing, you see.
Here's some helpful instructions on fixing your problem. :action-sm (http://debian-imac.sourceforge.net/)

I assume you've tried to save the file and open it outside of your browser?
I used to have the same problem opening PDF files in IE, but I solved it by re-installing Acrobat Reader.

Safari can't open PDF's natively. You'll need a plug in (http://www.schubert-it.com/pluginpdf/), or you can just download it to your computer.
As far as the flight itinerary, I don't know what format/extension it is in so I can't recommend anything it should be opened with :icon_wink
