Lil' Jimmy Norton was called a neo-con today by a caller on the Ed Schultz show on America Left.
The conversation was about Chris Rock hosting the Oscars and the recent attention his hosting has been getting as being an attack by the right on the "liberals in Hollywood".
The caller tried to explain that comedians were not liberals, because he used to watch "Tough Crowd" and the comedians all spent their time on the show bashing the left.
The best part was when the caller said that Jimmy was recently heard joking about beating your wife for serving cold dinner.
I kept waiting for him to finish with a plug about the Improv in Houston.

Oops...I stink.
Ironically, only 20 minutes prior, XM aired a commercial for the bbboys on the same station complete with Opie providing instructions on how to sign up. Nice to hear XM promoting the show on other channels.

It happened so fast, I couldn't. I checked to see if XM replays Ed Schultz' show, but it doesn't look like they do. It was within the first few minutes of the show.
Norton's not a neo-con. Being a neo-con also involves religion. It dont seem to me like he is areligious man.

Norton's not a neo-con.
Hello, exactly...that's what made the call funny.
Jimmy's all over the place -- and I mean that as the truest of compliments. Rather than shape his views to match some group label, he speaks what he thinks rather than just ape the views (on which he may not have a strong opinion) of a group that he happens to agree with sometimes.

"Neocon" is often a code word for "Jooooo" by the more slimier elements of the left. Other than that, though, there doesn't necessarily have to be any religious element.

I listen to Fox News XM121 sometimes and there are promos of O&A sometimes.
"Wanna see the two-headed baby in a Jar" promo even.
