Show Open
• At the start, Op says they have a lot of updates today. Ant says there are two things, one has to do with in-fighting in the XM family, and the other has to do with part of the O&A team leaving. Op says it might be difficult to guess, but they realize everyone is guessing who it is that left…more on that later.
• Op says Jimmy is tired today, and they ask him why. Jimmy goes on to explain why. Turns it out it was related to “Coolguy”, a DJ on the XM station “The Boneyard”. Jimmy posted a thread here on Wackbag, basically calling out Coolguy. Opie reads Jimmy’s post (and mispronounces epitome) – (Jimmy's Thread (http://www.wackbag.com/showthread.php?t=21531)). Coolguy apparently read the post and he was pissed at it, and then sent Op an email asking them to back off, because he had personal issues. Op read it and decided ok, they would kinda back off. However he went ahead last night, and bashed Jimmy on his show. As a result, Op reads the letter that Coolguy sent to him. In the letter he says that he read the mobilization guidelines here on Wackbag. Op starts reading said guidelines (These are the actual guidelines (http://www.wackbag.com/showthread.php?t=19465), but Op was actually reading from here – Bach’s FAQs (http://www.wackbag.com/showthread.php?t=18905) . After reading them he decided that he needed to send Op the email to kinda calm things down. Op continues to read the email, in which Coolguy explains that he has a wife and kids, which is opposite from the impression he gives on the air.

He also reads the last line where he writes that he wanted to keep the fact that he had a wife and kids from his “handful of nitwit listeners”.

• Audio of Coolguy from his show last night, with him calling out Wackbag and our own Bach in particular. (Hmm, seems he didn’t quite understand those Mobilization guidelines, did he?) He also calls Norton a faggot, and Jimmy goes off on him. They continue with the audio, with Coolguy taking calls from his “nitwit listeners”.
http://img56.exs.cx/img56/1407/minivandad8xg.gif
They talk about how stupid Coolguy is trying to do the divide and conquer tactic, by praising Op while bashing Jimmy. Op talks about how back at WBAB they tried that with Anthony. Back to the audio, Coolguy calling Jimmy a “cheap fuck” and saying that he is funnier than him. Jimmy says a chimp could do Coolguy’s job.
• Op remembers back at WBAB, and what caused them to hate their old PD Dave Douglas.
• They play Stephen Lynch’s “Bowling song” into break (because Dick Weber, bowling legend died)
Break
• Back from break, Op lets everyone know who left – it’s Noah, the “flamboyant” intern. Op says after the show yesterday, apparently his dad called in and was pissed off, and then he quit. Op says he hopes it didn’t have anything to do with him throwing the chocolate covered strawberry at Noah’s shoes. Op says he is kinda bummed that he left. Op says that he was really annoyed that Noah had all those nice clothes at his age, because he grew up so poor. He says he always hated rich kids, and he remembers driving a Dodge Aspen station wagon while the rich kids had brand new cars.
http://img17.exs.cx/img17/1446/pimpmyrideopie7du.jpg
Op talks about growing up and the lunches he had to go to school with, and having to eat Pepperidge farm bread, which was the worst bread. He also talks about having to take his lunch to school in a cement bag. Ant says he understands now why Noah’s $500 Gucci shoes sent him crazy. Opie also remembers having black kids come over for the summer as part of the “fresh Air” program, where kids from the inner city would be bused out to the countryside.
http://img202.exs.cx/img202/937/opiefriends7al.jpg
• They play the hulk music for Noah, and op says he would like to keep the door open for Noah to come back. Ant gives him his official goodbye.
• “Milk Diva” into break
Break
• Ant reads a feedback from a guy that says if his mom is hot then the hotness must skip a generation. Ant wants to know why the guy is evaluating his looks. Op says he is hot, and he talks about how when he met Ant he had a huge Afro, and drove a terrorist van.
http://img96.exs.cx/img96/1199/oldskoolant7nt.jpg
He also says that the rumor is that Ant has a huge hog; Ant says of course he wants to keep that rumor going. Op brings up a story about a guy in his neighborhood that has huge balls, and everyone notices it.
• They switch to talking about an article in rolling stone magazine, talking about the Hot 97 Tsunami song and getting fired. Ant says he has been in contact with Rick, and it turns out she sang on the song, and now she is acting like she had no part to play in the song. They play audio from her show, with her apologizing. During it, Ant drops his wacky horn on the floor. Jimmy picks it up and tries to honk it, but it doesn’t sound right. Jimmy says he hopes that Star and Bucwild (a show on a rival station) kills them in the ratings.
• They talk about Eric Logan, and his Pete Rose haircut.
• “War of the Cumias” into break
Break
• Op talks about Seth Green coming in to the show today. Op says he loves Seth Green’s character (Chris) in “Family Guy”.
• Seth Green comes in studio. Ant asks him about leaving Buffy, and he explains that it had to do with salary, and not being able to play a full time character. Op says he has never seen Buffy. They switch to talking about Family Guy. He does the Chris voice. He talks about how the show was cancelled twice and then being brought back. He explains his newest project, “Robot Chicken” which involves toys and stop motion animation.
• Callers call in to talk to Seth.
• Seth talks about being on “Punk’d”
• They also talk about the issue with Chris Rock and the Academy Awards. Jimmy does his friend gag twice during the interview. He also does Chris one last time before he leaves.
Break
• Ant reads a story about a radio duo in England that were suspended indefinitely because they staged a robbery on the air. Jimmy flubs a line, mispronouncing **** as “wape”. This segues into them talking about how back on regular radio, the lawyers would point out incidents that other DJs would get fined for, and tell them they need to alter their show – when it was something they would have never done anyway.
• Op says they need a new alert – “a newspaper comedy alert” – for when the newspaper writers try a joke in their story. Op gives Ant the story to read while he eats a banana. Ant can’t pronounce the name of the boy in the story (the story is about the teacher that was sleeping with her student, and is now getting married to him). Then he reads some of the awful joke wedding suggestions the writer in the Post.
• Op says that Steve C has been handing in audio of people getting hurt, e.g. the audio of the guy that hit his head on a dam from yesterday. They replay the audio. He talks about the newest one that Steve brought in, which is a guy that was body slammed off a roof. Steve C also talks about a new “Rate My Wow” website that will have all boobie pics, and the chance for everyone to rate them. Then they play the audio of the guy from the roof.
• They talk about people that mistakenly call someone, and then the person that they call hears whatever is going on in the background on their voicemail
• ***Promo Alert*** - Pat from Moonachie will be doing the news on Friday.
• They play an example of what they were talking about before of a woman telling a man to get out her house, while having the phone on and not realizing it. They try to guess what the guy did to piss her off. Op says it was a call from the…
• Banana Phone into break
Break
• Rob Dibble calls in, to talk about the baseball channel. They ask him about Jose Canseco, about steroids and about playing in the Major League. Jimmy gets him with his “friend” gag.
• Op says he is glad that Rob touched on the steroid thing; because he thought he was gonna blow it off. Ant remembers a kid he knew in high school that may have been doing steroids.
http://img126.exs.cx/img126/4848/roidrage2jl.jpg
• Op talk about a thread discussing the fact that a Stephen Lynch song was bleeped yesterday, but it was from old show.
• Audio of Bobby Knight cursing in the locker room.
• Caller calls in to say that he did steroids when he was younger, and now he is suffering the after effects, which of course leads to the laughter soundtracks.
• Op says they are at a weird time in the show, when they really can’t start anything new, so he starts reading a letter in the newspaper about a reporter from the NY Post who breastfed her baby in public.
• WDIL into show end.
