I realize this post will probably be moved to Threads From Moonachie, but I need to get this out. Until the O&A Ungagged special that was on XM Comedy 150, I had never heard of Opie and Anthony, the St. Pat's thing, or any of the other high profile stunts they had pulled. The special peaked my interest and I listened during the free week. After that week I signed up for the premium channel. These guys are absolutely phenomenal! I find myself listening to the entire show and at least one replay during the course of the day.
Moving on to Wackbag.com, I have been reading the message boards and have come to the conclusion that most of you folks are just down right funny. I felt compelled to join this message board and offer my help in anyway I can to the O&A Army.
With that being said, I am ready to be buried in the Threads From Moonachie.

TONS of markets didn't get them, and tons of people on the west coast were at work when they aired the show. O&A didn't make nearly as big an impact outside NE America.

Actually the only reason I heard them was because of Stern - they were on after him in Sacramento. You do see TONS of wow stickers here though.

Welcome, 1 question, Where are you from that you have never heard of O&A before XM??
I live in Kansas City now, but in thier FM days I was living in Lake Tahoe, Ca. 3 radio stations, 2 were AM and one of those was a news station that I only listened to when it was snowing. The news was local and top story national, if the news didn't effect the entire nation or was some horrible story it wasn't reported. The FM station was straight forward classic rock station, I was even told more than once "Shut up and just play what is on the list".

I'm like you pot, I just found out about O&A on xm, but I live in TN so go figure. I listened during the freeplay weekend and got hooked. Now I'm still frantically catching up with audio from '98 through today.
This site is great and is the perfect addition to the audio provided every day of the week by our two american heroes. Oh yeah and norton and all those behind the glass.
I hope that I'll adequately be able to contribute to the digust of hapless internet passersby.
