I got nothing better to do so I'll throw in some more stuff to speculate about. R&F just had a bit where Fez had to guess a mystery guest who was there to see him in the studio. Fez was asking "yes" and "no" questions and one of the questions was "do you currently work in satallite radio" and the mystery guest answers "not yet". The mystery guest turns out to be Billy Staples who used to be their pseudo-producer at WNEW and he also answered the phones. What does it all mean?!? HmmMmmhmm :icon_eek:

sounds like within last two years and from what hes saying he got it pretty bad hes got lesions on the brain, brain damage needed a new pancreas, and all sorts of head trauma, funny thing is hes saying he still using and he was doped up and drunk in accident but wants to sue becuase he thinks the airbag didnt go off, he did some prison time for it.

Actually, IMO that's a great take on both shows.

When they were both on NEW, I would leave work listening to O&A and just laugh my ass off after a long day of work.
Then I would blow off Don & Mike, for obvious reasons, and "relax" while listening to Ron & Fez. My then girlfriend (now wife) really enjoyed doing that with me back then- so if they come over to XM we'll now get to do that again.

Cameron was Liddy's producer when Liddy was on WJFK; then he was the producer for The Sports Junkies; when they left WJFK in 2002, Cameron got promoted to operations manager. He's not a kid.

All depends on their contract and no compete clauses. Howard apparently does not have a no compete in his contract, he'll go right from wxrk to sirius, and he's allowed to promote it.

However everyone else in the company (R&F) have stricter contracts and aren't allowed to say goodbye to their audiences, or even let them know what is happening in the future of their careers. Were you expecting fairness or equality from Infinity broadcasting?

Also their PD is a dick so maybe he caught onto their little hints and is threatening them or something, so I guess we'll just have to sit and wait it out.

As for O&A- they just don't want to announce anything until it's official.

If you go back and read some of Anthony's early posts here, when he was trying to tell us what was going on and nobody knew that it was him, there were things that were "a done deal" that they couldn't talk about for one reason or another.

I would assume that there are similar issues with R&F.

I know how this board just looooves speculation, but maybe we all assume too much. Maybe R&F don't have a contract at either place yet, and things still have to be worked out. R&F could sign a contract in August for all we know. As much as I love Ronnie and Fezzy, maybe they don't have the same pull as O&A, and won't be signed immediately - not many people do know of them.

I do hope that XM signs the perfect companion to O&A, and fast.

They are defiantly alone at that station dealing with a PD they have spoken to all of two times this year (according to Ron). I so hope they are still coming to XM. There's been absolutely no concrete news since "A husband and wife team has been signed." As of right now they are still on wjfk. The rumors were they were leaving in May, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen. The current rumor is sometime in the fall. But since they apparently have a strict contract we really won't know until it happens, or until they are in best of mode for several days because the PD might stop them from doing a "your mom's box show."
