Beniot and Jericho tag team champs! Finally a little something new. The thing that sucks is even when the WWF tries something different it is still predictable.
I thought RAW was a good show and the writers did a good job of starting new angles for everyone. Looking forward to the Dudleys putting Molly through a table. What is Eddie Guerrero really up to? What is wrong with Saturn? (besides the normal Saturn weirdness) Beniot/Jericho being in the main event. And of course is the power trip gonna explode? The only thing I didn't get was why did they give The Big Show the Hardcore belt? Or better yet why did they take the belt away from Rhyno? All in all I thought it was a predictable show but a good show. The wrestling was top notch as usual and I think the writers have started some good angles that will be compelling. I hope Shane brings some friends soon. I hope HHH is not injured. His knee really buckled and he was limping a lot at the end of the match. Looking forward to Smackdown to see where things lead.

I agree Deke, The writing is getting alittle better. I do like that whole E.Gurrerro thing, I wonder if he is being cool for real or is it a plot?
Also on that HHH limping thing. I think they changed the ending of that match midstream. I think HHH whispered to someone: "I'm fucked, I won't be wrestling for awhile". He could not even stand on it. I bet he's out for awhile.
I have heard of them changing matches midstream, but I could be reaching with this one. Sounds like a legit reason to change the ending of a match though. Figuring HHH won't be wrestling for awhile, why should the tag team titles not be used to lure fans.
Now, it's Benoit and Jericho new champs. Has there ever been a good tag team besides The Steiner brothers in WCW? I am trying to think of a team that would invade WWF to challenge for the titles.

There is no way they changed the match. It was written for Jericho and Beniot to win to elevate them up to main event statis and set up the main events for KOR. Austin v. Jericho which is booked and HHH v. Beniot which will propbably be changed to Beniot v. Angle again. Yeah that sucks again but they really don't have anything else at the moment. Maybe they will get creative and come up with something else.
Back to the match. It was not changed at all. HHH deserves a lot of credit for continuing. He tore his quad during the match. He could have called for a quick pin or a bail out but he didn't because he realized how important the match was. If he was gonna call for a change or a quick ending why would he still do the high spot on the table where he was put in the Walls of Jericho? He would have just blasted whoever was outside with him, grabbed the sledgehammer and hit Austin by mistake (wink, wink) for a quick pin. Once again he showed why he is the best in wrestling and The Game. He made sure the storyline was continued and put over Beniot and Jericho.
As far as good teams in WCW - there was Harlem Heat but Stevie Ray was signed by another small fed already. Ironically one that is being sued by the WWF for copyright infringements. Of course there was the Outsiders, but Nash is gonna sit out the rest of the 8 months left on his contract before coming back. Scott Hall is in shape and looks good from what I read on the net though. I am not really sure who is gonna take the belts for Beniot and Jericho. They were given the belts to elevate them to main event statis, but if they are relegated to defending the belts against E&C or the Dudley or whoever it is really not an elevation at all. If they hold the belts until KOR and are in singles matches that would be two (2?!?) PPV in a row without a tag team title defense. We will have to see.
The Eddie Guerrero thing is pretty good. Look for Eddie to remain with the Hardy's and gain their trust until KOR. I will put money down that Eddie will end up facing one if not both fo the Hardy's in the KOR tournament though.
