I love his comedy, it would be fun to hear him on the show...

think there is any chance in hell? Has Jimmy even met him before?

That would be interesting. I wonder if he would have any chemistry with the show. I'm a fan of his stuff, but he might not fit in with the guys.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I guess if the show didnt like him it would make for a horrid interview, but if the guys like him, maybe they can make it work out of their own personal interest.

Kind of like how Hannity fits in on the show, its only because the guys like him that he works because he is very opposite of the shows flavor I think.

...such as Stephen Wright. I'm not sure if he's ever been on before, but he is my favorite comedian. The king of dead-pan one liners. Anyone who's ever heard his stuff will agree, he is a comic master. His timing is impeccable and he is so creative. You will find yourself quoting his jokes to friends all day long, and they are easy to remember and are still funny when YOU tell them...you don't find that too often.

I'm just sayin...

Feh, I'm no lord. Just a fan of the show and the board.
But thanks for the kind words.

They need to have a legend on the show...
Dice?

SparrowHawk

Dice is OK...his style of comedy has grown a little stale over the years...in my opinion. Stephen Wright's style is always funny...his stuff is not really topical so it doesn't grow out of date.

It seems to me like he's in a class of his own...there isn't anyone who comes close to his style.

I can't name one comic who has a similar style...

I agree, I was just referring to how Dice always likes to refer to himself as "the legend"

I definietly think he is a legend.

He does he own show, Ive never heard of anyoen opening for him. He has a bizarre almost autistic mind...

I bet his personal life would challenge Jimmy's on weird-theremightbebodiesofgirlscoutsinthebasement-ness

Who else would come up with these classics?

"I met a man on the street, he had wooden legs and real feet...he asked me if I new what time it was and I said, yes...but not right now."

"When I was a kid we had a quicksandbox in my backyard. I was an only child...eventually."

"I was camping with my girlfriend...and I don't know how she did it, but she got poison ivy...on her brain. The only way she could scratch it was to think about sandpaper..."

F'in hilarious. Reading it doesn't do it justice. He has a video of his act that is absolutely one of the funniest things I've ever seen. It's hard to find but if you can find it, watch it and you will see comedy in it's purest form.

I think of Mitch Hedgeberg (sp?) and Jay London as sort of Stephen Wright off-shoots.

Yeah a little bit I would say so.

"what happens when you get scared half to death twice?"

I love me some Mitch Hedberg...he is the 2nd King of the one-liners...

But unfortunatly...I don't see him living much longer unless he gives up the dope. I know how hard it is...I used to do the shit...I was hooked for 2 years...I still can't say that I wouldn't do it if it was put in front of me...but I wish Mitch the best. He has a long, hard road ahead of him, but he can overcome it if he wants to...but if he doesn't...then hey...he is still one of the funniest motherfuckers on the planet...hands down.

One thing I have to say is that everyone here (or at least most Wackbaggers)...have great taste in comedy.)

How can you listen to the boys and not appreciate the best comedians out there...I mean really...who are the boys friends with...the best comedians...

Norton...Vos...Bob Kelly...Joe Rogan...who else do you need? Can you imagine a show with all 4 of those guys? That would be an AMAZING show.

Anyway...sorry to rant...but I just love the boys and recognize their talent and the talent of their friends...

Oh...by the way...there are so many funny people on this board...

I'm jus' sayin'...
