The Rock is scheduled for an appearance on the "Opie and Anthony" XM Satelitte Radio show on premium channel 202 later this week. The hosts are known wrestling fans, so you can definitely expect some wrestling discussion on this interview, unlike the other mainstream appearances he's been making where wrestling seemingly isn't touched.

I wonder if the booker cunt got us this guest..um wait no ONA have a good relationship with the WWE

Well, that's all well and good, but the Rock's not with WWe anymore. They let his contract run out.

I hope they also book the writer from the wrestling site that pissed him off. (I can't think of his name) Will there be any Samoan jokes?

He plays a gay Somoan bodyguard that is an aspiring actor in BE COOL. That's worth a laugh or two.

Any time I see or hear Dwane I just flashback to his walkout back when, and then the prison visit the week after. This should be intereasting.

Havent watched wwe as much this year like I used to before I went to work. His movie career has slowed down sorta since walking tall did fair business. At least he has a supporting role in this vehicle so should be interesting to see him in this. Should be interesting and probably catch it during the replays over the weekend. Hopefully Opie wont try to poke and prod him like Bernie, because he could give opie a rock bottom.

Is that the same Sickboy from wrestlingheadlines.com? I used to love that website. Whatever happened to Scotsman?

The interview with The Rock will be interesting. I wonder if he will be as pissy as he was at 'NEW.

There was a guy in the studio who owned a wrestling website that was mostly just joke posts about wrestling headlines, etc. Someone on the site posted a column that made jokes about blacks and Rock's black/Samoan background. Rock got wind of it before he showed up, and basically showed up solely to rip the guy a new asshole and storm off. In doing so, he called O & A racists (because, apparently, having a guy in the studio who knows someone who wrote a joke column that involved race made them racists--even if they didn't know about the column until Rock mentioned it). The WWF had invited O & A to the grand openinig of the WWF NY restaurant, but they weren't allowed in (and looked like tools in front of their girls as a result). The WWF sent Rock back to the show to make amends for his behavior and for the company not letting the guys into the restaurant, but they made Rick have Rock phone in from the lobby so they could tell Rock that they didn't want him in the studio. I'm sure you could find the audio of it all at www.oavirus.com. It's really uncomfortable.

What's weird is that I was a huge Rock fan until that day. I remember watching Smackdown that night after the show ended, and just thinking that Rocky acted like such an asshole that I immediately started hating him (and kept hating him for a good long while).

At the time, O&A were really into the wrestling, and had this guy Sickboy on from time to time who ran a wrestling website and seemed to know everything about the subject. While the Rock was in studio, Sickboy dropped by to ask a couple of questions. When the Rock learned who he was, he stopped the interview dead in its tracks and accused Sickboy of making racist comments about him on his site (it wasn't true . . . it was a message board post, not an article written for the site). The Rock got pissed that O&A would be friends with someone like Sickboy, and stormed out of the room. A few days later, after someone straightened him out on a few things, he came back to apologize, but O&A were still pissed at him and made him do it on the phone from outside the studio (the prison visit interview).

Both bits are posted on oavirus.com right now.

You know they really haven't done serious questions on XM. They hinted at it a couple of times but not a real on-air barage. Seems like the Cock would be a really good time to break it back out.

Oh, it very much was an article written by one of the Xwrestling.com, more specifically Wrestling Uncensored staff members. (Xwrestling.com hosted 2 boards, one Wrestling Uncensored, only staff writers could post on, the other, The Squared Circle, was an open message board.) Worlds Drunkenest Bastard was the writer, I believe, as I used to be a staff writer at Xwrestling at that time and I knew Sick personally. I also spent time talking to WDB when the whole thing went down (since he was out in California and did not get the show) and I also got on the air with O&A.

The whole post in question was making fun of Sickboy more than the Rock. Sick posted that he would be going on the show to ask the Rock a few questions and basically was gloating the night before the show.

WDB then posted a fake interview with the Rock as would have been done on the show, I believe the line that he took the most offense to was something to the effect of Sickboy asking how writing the book was and the Rock answering that he was half black and half samoan, so that he obviously couldn't write the book because he didn't know whether to spend his time stealing stuff or eating.

It was kind of the beginning of the end for Xwrestling at that point...

I think if you google the scotsmans name and xwrestling and the rock, he has all of the articles from those few days archived.

I hope he shows up and they play the Rock's A Pussy song from Airsick.

I admit I pretty much looked down on wrestlers as useless bone heads, but I've seen the Rock on talk shows and seems fairly straight forward and funny guy. And I met TripleH in the studio the day he was on O&A and was super cool guy. Admitedly I had no idea who he was and he came to me and introduced himself real friendly, and then once in studio he was one funny mother fucker! Never expected it.

I'm trying not to judge people anymore!~LOL

His first appearance was uncomfortable when he walked out, but it really pales in comparison to his second one where he had to wait in the lobby. Anyone remember the video of his life size cut out? "The Rock says, I'm a pussy"

Actually, The Rock said that there was a deal worked out where he can keep using the name.

I'm just going by what the Rock himself has said in several mainstream interviews regarding his current (or non-)WWe status.

Yeah it is a little weird though to hear that he's done with wrestling. When he was becoming big, along with Stone Cold was the first time since I was a kid when Hulk Hogan and all those guys were the stars. Now, it's just like "who cares?"

Rock walked out on the boys because he thought they were racists (or at least associated with them). Apparently he hasn't heard the new show since there weren't any problems yesterday.

Well that was a little different because the guy Rock thought was associated with the show had a whole bunch of rascist stuff about the Rock in an article on his website.

Yea...that was cringe city. I was just waiting for the Rock to lose it being made to wait in the lobby. He actually handled it pretty good. I'm glad to see that he is cool with O&A now. Now they just need to get him in studio again.

That bullshit story needs to stop. The Rock flipped out over 1, rather tame, especially by today's show standards, line. Even back then, it was a tame line. There wasn't "a whole bunch of racist stuff" it was a friggin parody joke interview that he took out of context. It wasn't some white power racist article...it was a stereotypical joke that we would have heard every day on the air with O&A back then. Which is probably why they played the Rock's A Pussy song so much, hell that song was worse then the article he even flipped out about.

The link I put up in my previous post doesn't work anymore. The article can be found by googling the terms scotsman rock xwrestling and then clicking on cached on the first link you get.
