Last I remember, O&G were persona non grata during the WNEW days, after becoming a regular on hoo hoo's show. The boys made the point of saying they knew who their friends were, and Otto was not welcome on the show.
Otto was quite subdued today, considering, but what's the deal? I was surprised to hear that he was in. Not even a hint of a mention of mended fences. What up with that?

Not really, If I remember correctly the Bbboys said that they didn't blame him for doing a nationally syndicated show with Howard's ratings. I think they also said that they would do the same thing if they were him, and that they've never played that exclusivity game with their guests.
I did find it to be pretty shity that Otto & George never came back on O&A after his Stern appearance. He did sound sheepish today. That's probably why. He was never there for friendship, he was there to further his career. It really makes you appreciate a loyal guest/friend of the show like Vos.

Whatever.....
He was AWFUL today.
He had a couple good appearences out of the box (Hit a tree and taste your own blood - it looks like a wallet), but he has done nothing since. He even kicked himself off Stern once because he sucked so bad.

One could probably assume that it was strange and awkward for him to get back into the saddle on the show. He probably knows what was said, knows what happened with him and somewhat turning his back on the boys (only somewhat, man's gotta eat) and that's what came through. He seemed timid and reserved because he wasn't comfortable like he used to be.

Didn't Hoo Hoo make Otto tear up a picture of Norton or something because Otto thought Norton stole his bit? I think I read that somewhere if not then sorri.

I didn't think I'd hear Otto and George on the show again. I remember the boys were pissed because Otto told Howard he was the only person in radio that ever helped him.

Yea, what a shame. He absolutely killed every time on 'new but he was horrible yesterday. I'm assuming just because it was the morning and he's not used to performing then, but jesus, steve-o and wheelchair fred had better appearances.

We'll see, it's still a little early to jump on any assumptions. O&G can always make a 2nd appearance and create radio gold, who knows? If they can't; think of the potential that gives O&A to twist it and create a whole new unexpected thing. When it comes to comedy, you never look down on any potential angle. Almost anything can be made funny if you know how to work it.

That's what I remember - one of the army called into the show at NEW, and told them what Otto had said on hoo hoo - how he was the only person in radio to help him - after the boys helped him sell out show after show when he played in the area. Their response was, they knew who their friends were, and that they'd remember. Who knows, maybe they are so starved for booking talent - what with that moron booker that XM hired - that they opted to let him in anyway. They're still willing to be played by Mohr, who definitely owes them more respect than he's giving them.
One thing's for sure - Otto was either hung over, or unable to respond, because he was a no-show on the mic. Even John Valby was hysterical at 7 am, and he was totally wasted.

I was dissapointed with his appearance. I couldnt wait for him to be on. I could care less about all of this howey loyalty bullshit. Hes too talented to shit the bed twice in a row. I hope they have him on again.
