I perused this entire forum and didn't notice a single thread devoted to my personal favorite comic. Those of you who have never heard or seen Hicks need only listen to his comedy album "Rant in E-Minor" or check out a copy of "Sane Man" on VHS. Examples of his dynamic live act are also on full display in his first American DVD compilation, "Bill Hicks Live."
If you like your comedy honest, hilarious, and devastating all at once, look no further. The world losese remarkable individuals every day, but few of them can tell a great auto-fellation story like Hicks could. The man will be missed for many years to come, and his work will continue to engage new listeners. Listen to one of his routines from 1992 and it's both eerie and astonishing how relevant his work is more than a decade later.

I totally agree with you. Bill was a genius and died way too early. Opie often cites him as a personal favorite. His stuff is legendary.

He died back in 1994 from pancreatic cancer. You're a little late on this one.

Bill friggin rocked.
Mrs bushes flacid lavia dangles down as ronnie reagan pisses in his face, Rush Limbachs lil pigly wiggly dick gets half hard.
The guy is a huge loss. Miss ya Bill.

I loved his idea for a Coca-Cola commercial and his thoughts on Easter.

In 1994 I was only 6. I started listening to Hicks after hearing him on a Tool album.

Heh, there is actually a good biography done on him that you can see from time to time on the Bravo channel. Pretty funny, not hilarious but more revolutionary.

Hicks was great. Listen to his stuff and you'll hear how much he influenced Denis Leary's "No Cure for Cancer" album.

I like Hicks for nothing more than his cntribution of "wink, wink, nudge, nudge" - everything else is bonus material, but that lil line is genius.
