I've never been a psycho fan that rearranged his schedule to hear the show - my lifestyle just has me around a radio all the time. Now that the show has been on for a while, I've found that I'm more and more willing to change the station if the subject isn't interesting, or listen to something else that doesn't have a replay instead - and if I get back to the replay great, otherwise, no big loss.

This isn't a judgement on the quality of the show (I don't think I like it less), I'm just not as fearful of missing chunks of it like I once was. It might even be psychological now that they're not going to be premium (I don't feel like I have to get my $2 worth)....

Is this happening with anyone else now that the show's been on for six months -

Or did I just reveal that I'm in the wrong place?

Quite the opposite lately. In October, I didn't mind if I missed a chunk of the show. These days, I obsess if I even miss one minute.

Hey if you feel like changing around from time to time, who cares? Even the biggest fan of anything feels like checking something else sometimes. So what

The only thing that turns me off about the replays are those same effing commercials, played right along with the show. I don't want to listen to Emmylou Harris give a live show at XM, I know the XRT-12 and Myfi commercials by heart, I can't stand another chorus of "switch, switch, switch," I hope Julie and the friend that calls to ask where she's at both are pinned behind the dash during a car fire, and I don't want to be layin' around Tom Petty's house listening to his record collection.

Ecch.

yea thats the only time i change during the show is when the same exact commercials come on. I put on Home Plate and they had a lazlo techno file commercial, why can't we get that instead the Mike Douty or whatever the fuck that is, but anyways, show is great, especially lately

I listen to bits and pieces throught the day, with my myfi, its great cause you can cut out the stupid bits and interuptions at the end of the segments.

I would guess whats starting to annoy me (not a bash so relax) is that they keep comedians ouside waiting while we have to listen to Francine and Weelchair Fred do the news.

I'd have to fall into the opposite catagory. I think the show has just been getting alot better lately. I think the idea they are traveling and getting out helps, more guests, I dunno. Just seems they are getting more gooder daily.

I don't miss much of the live show fits in perfectly to my lifestyle. if a bit is good I'll record it on the myfi for reply later. After 1 it is all about baseball. I am a totall XM addict with a massive dose of the virius. I will only change when OnA leave.

I listened to O A almost compulsively, but after a while you need a break from your wife, RIGHT? This is why the chance of having Ron Fez come back as team mates with O A is so great. A little change like that will do nothing but good.

No one is questioning how good it is, douche.

I'm actually enjoying today's show more than I have in a while - particularly the first couple hours of 'banter' - I like when they're just tooling on each other way better than guests and stunts... today is top notch.

Yeah I must say I am quite the opposite. I am a fan from WNEW and back then I would miss a whole week and not even notice. Ever since I got my myfi I haven't missed A SECOND of the show since christmas. More gooder than ever.

when they started on XM I did my best to make sure I caught a replay (can't catch the live show). Now adays I don't mind missing a show (like todays, have not heard it all and won't till this weekend). I know that if I miss something I can hear it later at some point.
But I still need to hear each show. I can't go without hearing all the shows. Been that way since the WNEW days.

I agree ED. I am on the west coast and record the shows so I can listen to them when I have the time. But I CANNOT miss a show...

Yeah! I can't wait for Ron and Fez to pop up in a timeslot where I'm trying to catch a replay!! Yeah! That's why I bought $350 worth of XM equipment and have spent 12 bucks a month for the last six months... To find out that they're (allllllllllegedly) putting that tripe on the O&A channel that I spent all this money for!!

I have a more hectic lifestyle than I did when the show was on WNEW. If the show wasn't funny back then, I continued to listen because I had nothing else to do.

Now when it's not funny I just turn it off and do some work; which I have way too much of these days.

From day one, they said there would be:

1. Commercials.
2. Other jocks (and "programming", which means the same thing - less replays).

Read the fine print.

Replays all day was just a way to fill dead air.

Okay, I'll bite... Where did it say this? Where, exactly, is this fine print you refer to? Did you have to buy the equipment to listen to the programming to find out this information?

Noone ever said I would have to listen to Homos Squared in the replay time... It was advertised as O&A, basically 24/7. "Replays throughout the day", ya know... That was the fine print.

Did you return your TV when they cancelled Punky Brewster? Nope, you just dealt with it.

You're fucked. I know you see it your way, but you're wrong (if only evidenced by the fact that you're the only one who seems to have noticed this entitlement), and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

And it won't change the fact that Opie has been doing the pee-pee dance about getting sponsors and programming the channel since the first hour of the first show. Maybe the first ten minutes.

Go find a dog and kick it in the liver, you'll feel better - I promise.

Ok, it might be wrong of me to assume you listened during WNEW. When Ron and Fez followed 0 A they worked together like a well oiled machine. Maybe its fair to assume you dont like Ron and Fez, ok ill give you your opinion. Maybe you dont know Ron and Fez, in that case its safe to say you will get your moneys worth out of your XM and your monthly... Trust me "MORE GOODER"

Eh, lots of people around here aren't R&F fans... I lisened to two weeks worth of shows last summer and thought they ware pretty lame. Never embarassing morning show ass-clowns - but not nearly as funny or consistant.

R&F are like O&A, but being a fan of one doesnt' automatically mean you'll like the other.

they are different, but the best r&f days were when O A had something to do with their show. I enjoyed when Ant stayed late to be on with them. One important thing, O A, and R F, they got along well.

and are pumping out QUALITY comedy!!!!

I try to catch as much as i can and hopefully they will keep at least one replay in the evening hours which I can pick up a half hour or hour that I dont get to hear during the live show. Watching the arena football game between colorado and nashville and thought it was comical when announcer said that one running back's touchdown run was rather herky jerky.
