I've been listening to the boys on XM since they started and I realized I can't remember where 'Not You' came from. If I remember correctly, someone said it to Norton or something. Anyone have some clarification or the sound clip?
Thanks.

It was.
Bob Kelly was talking to Jerry for a bit at a comedy club. A few minutes later, Bob was standing near Jerry and another person, when Jerry looked over in Bob's general direction and said, "come up to my table and we'll eat and talk." Bob thought Jerry was talking to him, so he said, "great, I'd love to." Jerry then looked at Bob and uttered the now famous, "NOT YOU!"

It was Bob Kelly. Bob had one very short exchange with Seinfeld. Sometime later, They were on the steps at the Comedy Cellar (in a group). Seinfeld says something (in Bob's general direction) like "When you finish your set, come on over." Kelly thinks Jerry's talkin' to him. When Kelly responds, Jerry just looks at him "Not Yoooouuuuuu!"

i like when they mention the guy in Nawlins that had a shirt that said something like "you rule!" on the front, and "not youuuuuu" on the back.

The key is the emphasis on the "youuuuuu"
That makes it more funny

Yeah, you've definitely got to sound really annoyed when you say it. It's much better than saying "leave me alone, you pestilent fool."
Ya beat me to it Bach... good lookin' out. Very well put too.
Thanks for the kind words, pez. :action-sm
