When I choose my name back in August of 2002, I was in my Hunter Thompson phase, but I did not want to make it obviuos...so I went Gonzoid instead. Not quite the same, although the intent is there.

I've been an OnA listener since they started on WNEW, and read wackbag every day - i just don't post much (hence my low post count). Wackbag official 'join date' Nov04, although I've been reading long before that.

However, even in spite of having registered DoctorGonzo before DrGonzoPA, I have no qualms with bowing out and leaving "doctor gonzo" moniker to "DrGonzoPA" if he is, indeed, the "doctor gonzo" that calls/instant messages the show - so as not to have conflicting names.

That does leave me brainstorming for a new name... hmm...

This is just like when athletes get traded and they want their old number on their new team...which someone already has! So they have to basically buy it from them. The person who gets to retain the moniker has to buy hookers, booze and narcotics for the person giving up the jersey number, or in this case webhandle.

Nah don't worry bout it Doc - you call in more than I do, so keep the name recognition... I can never wake up in time so I hear 80% of the show on replay every day.
