Actually I think it's been since maybe a week or two before the vacation, but yes, they've definately hit their stride. The show is very close to being as good as its WNEW prime.
It's better in some ways, a little tamer in others. They're more free about what they say, but they're less free about what they do, which takes a little bit of a toll. Freaking out about a guy swallowing a butter knife on the show was almost surreal considering they once used a listeners back as a dart board.

the best points of the NEW shows are coming through now and it helps. The absolute cringe radio is back occasionally, though we may have to wait a while for "has been cornered". What i am gonna miss is the small things that will never happen now. I will put up sirius (hoohoo) money that we will never hear anything like the staple gun challenge ever again. I sat in my car for 40 mintes listening to that bit when it happened, it was probably THE bit that had me listening every day ever since. I know Ant would be down, but opie would defenilty puss, and norton wouldnt go along with it unless somebody peed on his arm to disinfect the staple wound. Thats all ah got so sah about that.
by the way, if someone knows where i can get a link to dice arguing against clips of himself, please let me know. tanks.

I'm a new listener to O & A. I had no reason to subscribe when they were on the premium service, basically because I was of the belief that ALL morning radio sucked. Being here on the west coast, you can basically choose between Howard Stern or Mark & Brian, (need I say more?). One of the reasons I initially got XM was to get away from shitty L.A. radio for good, little did I know that I was going to be introduced to two of the funniest assholes on the planet, (and one funny cocksucker, didn't forget you Norton). Thank God for XM & thank Buddah for O & A, keep it up!

The boys are too afraid to really do the all-out stupid stuff that they would do before. This might change as they get their feeling of job security back though. You never know.
Still the other 95% of what they do is still great, and the show is getting close to its former glory.

I think they got a lot better after coming back from vacation because they stopped complaining about the equipment so much. The equipment seems to be working well now and they don't flip out every few hours...

I think the option foer Xm to pick the rest of the contract comes around in July. Once that's in the clear, you might hear some of the crazy shit again.

I've been listening to O&A since the Free-Play a few months ago. I never saw a need to subscribe to them when they were on Premium though. The Online stream worked great and I kept up with the show that way. I used to listen to Sports Talk radio in the morning and I thought they were humorous...I was dead WRONG!!
O&A are great and I have been infected by the "O&A Virus." The "Worst Of" during their vacation was good; the first time. They just replayed things too much, but it's all good because they've explained what happened with that. Last week and today's shows were great and they can only get better!! Their much needed vacation did the trick. :icon_cool
