... I'm sure I'm not the only one. Have you ever been walking down the street, on the subway, a bus, or sitting in a random place (like, oh, say, Panera Bread) listening to O&A, and just start laughing out loud? It's been happening to me a lot since I moved to Chicago. I'm sure some people out there think I'm a complete and total psychopath. Granted, they're not far off, but sometimes the looks make me feel silly. :icon_redf

Yeah, I'm usually laughing my ass off in my car, and at red lights I have to pretend I'm looking on the floor for change to avoid looks.

People make comments(positive) towards me because they ask what I am listening to and i tell then O &A, and most of them respond..... "Oh they are back on radio" or " Oh those Guys", and then I tell them to check them out. They also notice my shirts that I where of O & A and I get nice comments.

I listen to them at work with my headphones on. I usually get at least one odd look a day...

I will go out to stores and whatnot listening to the show from the day on the MyFi and get tons of strange looks.

Shit, it happens to me on a daily basis. I will be sitting in my patrol car, and just burst out laughing like a trainable and people think I am nuts.

You are either a security guard or a cop. Either way, you ARE nuts.

When I laugh out loud at something from the show and someone notices me I just keep laughing and point at them. They quickly forget about my insane laughter and wonder what's wrong with them.
Great to see them begin to look at themselves and forget about me. Makes me laugh harder. :rotf:

I get that sometimes when I'm listening to either O&A or Ron & Fez. I gave up caring a long time ago though.

I know what you guys mean. People are always looking and pointing at me. They must know I'm a fan because I even get funny looks when I'm not listening to them.

That is a nice twist, make them feel stupid for even looking at you. Bravo

I look straight at them and they usually end up fidgetting! :icon_eek:

Its usually my kids that ask "whats so funny?" I tell them when they are 20 I'll tell them. Can't say a teen, as I have one of those!

But in the long run, I just don't care who looks! :action-sm

There are 3 guys in my aisle at work who listen to the show with headphones on, so people will be walking by and all three of us crack up at the same time. By now, most people know the deal, but occasionaly we get some strange reactions.

One of the girls at the Glory Hole asked me why I was laughing. I think she worried I thought she sucked.

I think that this is a perfect time to help "sell" the show. Along with the WOW sticker on my back window, I also have one in my car. If someone gives me a look while I'm laughing out loud, I'll just hold up the sticker to show them what I'm laughing at.

i was ordering food at the drive-thru at burger king once, and norton's trucker rant was on, and i forgot to turn it off as i ordered, so when i got to the window the guy gave me a weird look and said "were you yelling at me?" and i didn't know what he was talking about cause i still didnt remember that i had o&a on, then he heard it in my car and goes "what the hell is that" and i said "opie and anthony" and he was just like "oh" and i was like "yea". then he handed me my food and i drove away chuckling.

Happened to me on the bus going home last night. I was listening to Jay refer to Robin Quivers enclosed area as a "monkey dunk tank" and laughed so hard I snorted dee-dee style. An older african american woman just looked at me like "ewwwww". I laughed harder and pointed at my headphones. She closed her eyes and ignored me the rest of the trip. (people don't tend to sit too close to me as a result of random outbursts of laughter, so it's a win-win for me!)

I listen in my car as I'm driving. Now that the weather's nice and windows are open, I really have to be careful... too many golfer comments on the radio... too many golfers where I drive through...
