For all the comments about him being boring ... well yea ... on the 200th interview of largely the same questions and at a time he's normally been in bed for a couple of hours he isn't great. With that said read up a little about Aerosmith in the late 70's and early 80's. Joe Perry was a F'ing true rock party animal. It is amazing he is alive.

actually...i agree that the interview wasnt bad....but damn...the show was kicking ass....funny as hell....then it just became serious and shitty....we need a little transition there....

My point exactly. I'm sure it was a decent interview, but I couldn't listen to it, I still had high energy from the first 9/10ths of the show.

If you call me bitch 13 or 14 more times, I swear to God, I'm outta here!!!

and here's all the memorable quotes worth mentioning and... ejecting.

Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Your bed is over here.
[indicates a dog bed]
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Dude, that is so fuckin' weak! How am I supposed to get a chick in that?
Joseph R. Cooper: Oh, don't worry, dude. You couldn't get a chick if you had a hundred dollar bill hanging out of your zipper.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Yeah I could.
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: No. Dude, you're a little bitch!
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: I am not! I don't even know why I hang out with you guys, anyway.
Joseph R. Cooper: 'Cause you're a piece of shit.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: I am not a piece of shit!
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Yeah, but you're a little bitch.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Goddammit! I swear if you guys rip on me 13 or 14 more times... I'm outta here!

Joseph R. Cooper: Hey pigfucker, can I call you pigfucker?
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: No, only my friends can call me pigfucker.

Coop: It's Coop and Remer.
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: We graduated with Britney.
Dr. Kaiser: You graduated?
Coop: Of course we graduated, cock - Beer?

Remer: Man this place looks like a Dockers commercial.
Coop: Oh hey, Stef!
Stephanie: Coop! Remer!
Coop: You wanna beer?
Stephanie: Oh, my God, you guys haven't changed since High School!
Coop: Oh, cool.
Stephanie: No, it isn't.
Coop: Cock. Hey, Skidmark Steve, cool. You sill hangin' out, playin' Nintendo?
Skidmark Steve: Well, if you must know, I'm in my second year of med school and I'm training for the Summer Games. What are you two up to?
Coop: You know... hangin' out... playin' Nintendo... cock.

Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: I am not going out with his sister!
Joseph R. Cooper: Dude, that's the defense, ya gotta psych them out.
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Yeah, ya gotta say totally fucked up shit to psych them out.
Kenny "Squeak" Scolari: Oh... Hey wait a minute, why is me going out with his sister totally fucked up?

Coop: I'm not gonna do it, dude, end of story!
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Dude!
Coop: Dude!
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Dude!
Coop: Dude!
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Dude!
[Coop looks shocked]
Douglas "Swish" Reemer: Dude.
Coop: I see your point.

Joseph R. Cooper: [with Australian accent] How to speak San Franciscan ?
[He pulls Squeak's shorts down, revealing his bottom]
Joseph R. Cooper: Vagina !

Joseph R. Cooper: Hey, Grumsky, you losin' weight?
[in Cartman's voice]
Joseph R. Cooper: Oh, Big ass! you're fuckin' fat. You're goddamn fuckin' fat. How'd you get so goddamn fuckin' fat?

Narrator: Soon it was commonplace for entire teams to change cities in search of greater profits. The Minneapolis Lakers moved to Los Angeles where there are no lakes. The Oilers moved to Tennessee where there is no oil. The Jazz moved to Salt Lake City where they don't allow music.

anyone in radio will tell you that they want the best radio to be at the end so they can go out on a high note.

Anyone in radio who appreciates rock at all will also tell you, if they're honest, they wouldn't turn down an interview with Joe Perry.

Anybody who's been alive for more than 20 years will tell you that things don't always work out the way you think they will.

Uhmmm... fan from Maryland, heard O&A after hunting out Stephen Lynch stuff on Napster back in 01 or so, and signed up for O&A on XM during the Free Play.

Joined Wackbag whenever it says over there (<--) and haven't been posting much because I work during the morning. But today I had the morning off.

I understand that, but anyone will also tell you that if your interview is going down the drain, you work into something else.

Amazing Rando

It's hard to work into something else with Joe Perry there as their "Main Event" ...it's going from Hulk Hogan to JYD at Wrestlemania I.

I actually liked the joe perry interview and like his new album. But to all those who couldn't stand the interview or the music deal... That is the nature of the pogram, some moments you will enjoy it other you will be like ehh it stinks... To me hearing a guitar god is a lot more entertaining than listening to some faggot WWE crap...

Its not that they interviewed him and it stunk its the fact that they were having a kick ass show and it brought it to a screaching hault. I was waiting for Lynch this week and it was like he was hardly in there, but kick ass show today overall.

Jesus, so many people bitch and moan about Joe being in studio. It was a very interesting interview and tidbits, not everyone can be a fuck up like Ozzy. I like the new single, and the CD isn't that bad, some great guitar work.

And lynch wasn't that amazing, he's funny, but we've heard the samething over and over again, which is fine. I'm not bashing Lynchy, you just know he can be back any time. That and he clearly didn't wanna play music today.

Is called Walton and Johnson on 97.5 here in Houston.

It is two guys, one with the radio voice talking, and the other does his voice and three characters, a redneck, a militant black man, and a flaming shitdick.

THey are the two most self-absorbed assholes I have ever heard (and this is Houston radio, which sucks ass to begin with). Any time somone asks why there is a voice-man, they cut the interview. Any time someone is funnier than they think they are, they will mess them up. I heard Jimmy on the show, and he was trying his damndest, but those two butt-monkeys were just terrible. THey do not prepare for any guest. Lynch was on one time, and he sang a couple of songs that went over well, but they had no idea what to ask him because they didn't know him. Sad radio. They took Stevens and Pruett off the air from a successfull 20year career in Houston and replaced them with pathetic losers. All hail the Clear Channel in their infinite wisdom...
