Not one mention as to why, and this includes basically every article on it. So I'm left to assume the problem is "Oh noes! Not an American buying it!"

This has nothing to do with the topic but I'm too fucking new to post my own thread so I'm just going to piggy back off this one since its the only thing I saw that said online. Fuck You to verizon online, I fuckin got DSL and its been nothing but problems, I've had the shit hooked up for a week and have been able to sign on maybe 3 days. Every time I try something there's some kind of problem, and the fucking tech support people either can't speak english or don't know what the fuck is going on...FUCK!

you need to get the cable sir... it is much faster

That's what I'm going to do now. I just put the dial-up back in for the time being and I am sending the DSL back, gonna wait till after I move the end of this month and then get cable.

I have DSL, and it works fine!

I compare that to dial up which i had for years, of course i say that!

Thy guy buying Manchester United also owns the Tampa Bay Bucs. The problem is he has accumulated a lot of debt to buy United, and is planning to dump the debt back on the teams books.....this means higher ticket prices. Supporters are also concerned that he will sell Old Trafford (their stadium). Also, with the higher debt the team will not be able to afford the Marquee players they have had the past few years.
