FU Poison Oak!!!

A big FU to the poison oak plant for somehow getting on my arm and giving me a rash!

I have NO idea how I got it, as I did not brush up against any plants in the last 2 weeks!

It fucking itches like hell, even though I've been putting Benadryl spray on it for the last few days! It is not spreading, so that's good - but FUCK! IT ITCHES!!!

That sucks Zag. Get "Tecnu" it dissolves the oils that give you the rash and the ONLY thing that works that I know of. Benedryl only delays the itching THIS get's rid of it altogether. I bought mine at Rite Aid so you may have some luck there.

I think I saw that at CVS when I was there the other day - it's like $40 right? Stupid me should have bought it then...

The weird thing is that they day that I broke out with the rash, I was in a wedding (not mine!!), and I had long sleeves and a coat on the whole time!

Dunno Zag, but it looks similar to my poison ivy i've had about a million times from my backyard. CVS would prob. have it too.

Correction, after forcing myself to look at that nasty shit :icon_mrgr I can say it Definately is one of the three poisons (ivy, oak, sumac).

Sir all I can say as least u did not get it on other parts of your body sir... I would suggest getting some carbolic soap though... will cut through plant oils and shit...

And I would suggest any of your bits which are showing a reaction... wrap up in gauze so you do not spread it to other parts of your body sir...

Well - it's the underside of my arm, so it's lighter to begin with, and in "super-macro" mode on my camera, the flash is extra bright (notice the extreemly dark background on the sides of my arm. Plus the contrast is all off in the pic - the rash is much redder than it looks in the pic.

At first I thought it was bug bites, as it didn't itch too much, and only started appearing after I was at the wedding - which had an outdoor patio.

The odd thing is that it has not spread anywhere, even though I was itching it it first (before I knew it was poison oak). Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining that it hasn't spread!

you should scratch it and then rub it on your balls... it will make your arm feel better... trust me, try it

Sir... wherever you see a break out... put some calimine lotion on it... and wrap with gauze... believe me you do not want this on any other part of your body especially your yam bag...

it couldn't have been from a pet because the last time I had contact with one was almost 2 months ago.

the only thing I can think of is that was when I was in a hotel last weekend - possibly the person who had the room before me had it and I touched something they touched.

the good thing is that it is getting better, and it does not itch as much today.
