What part of "Cancel my TV service, but keep my cable modem as is" DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND? Instead of having bi-lingual customer service reps, how about giving me someone that can understand fucking English???? And it's supposed to be *my* fault that I've had free internet service for two fucking months???? Silly me, I thought that for ONCE you might have actually gotten something right.

It's been 3 years of fucking hassles and describing your customer service PATHETIC doesn't even come close to the horror that it actually is!

I can't wait to move out of my fucking building so I can get a dish.

My home ISP is optimum on-line. I don't give a fuck what they call it. When I have a problem, the Optimum customer service 888 number goes right to Cablevision's customer service. Fuck 'em all.

Cablevision sucks ass. I had to argue with them the other night cause they turned off my movies on demand. It was thier fuck up too and the woman gave me the biggest fucking attitude. The worst part was that we were really stoned and ready to watch a movie, and that's how my night ended up instead. Fuck Cablevision.

These bastards try to get money any way they can. I got the modem reconnected, but they also reconnected my video service. WHAT THE FUCK??? I NEVER asked to have my video service back.

And customer service can't handle the disconnect/cancellation of my video service, that needs to go to the "disconnect department." Fucking asshats.

And yet another 20 minutes of my life wasted because of their fuckups. I can't wait to move.

I even sent them a letter detailing my dealings with their FUCKO customer service department and why I wasn't paying my bill in full. And what do these ILLITERATES do???? Thanks for the offer, but I'm not in North Jersey any more. And don't get me wrong, they CS asshats seem to SPEAK English well. It's just that when you ask for something, you probably won't get it. At least not the first time. Even if you make them repeat the request back to you and summarize the actions taken at the end of the call they still get it wrong.

since this thread hasn't died...I attempted twice to fax my explanation that I'm not paying for service that I did not authorize. The fax is either busy or doesn't pick up. I've now sent my letter and support via certified mail. I will be writing the consumer utilities board (or whatever their name is), too.

i have opt online and i havent had a problem with it (its very fast :icon_bigg ) besides them never sending me my free gift i was supposed to receive for siging up for the service 2 yrs ago....

Cabey... OLN is providing their feed for FREE to all cable/satellite services for opening night (Rags/Flyers... will be blacked out anyway... thanks fer nuttin). I'm kind of suprised they're not showing Crosby's debut... but you can watch that on FSNY.

And if you're concerend with playoff games, when your fishsticks get eliminated :action-sm, you can always come by the swamp and watch my Center Ice satellite feed in the parking lot, while I'm inside.

[B]I work for a cable company thats locally own cable company and I know that 75% of our customers are with us because of that. They like the fact that they can talk to the owner and not a employee. And Comcast is buying a company that overlaps the company and they are a aggressive company they will give service out for free to just make my company sell out. So how do you win against Cable companys like Comcast and others you hack the systems and just mess things up and make it hard for them to fix it. I mean I don't care if we sell out or not because I come out alright either way. All I'm saying is that don't bash all cable companys we are not all like that. I have a lot of customers that have went to the dish and came back just because of the reason they get same day service on problems and things like that. I reckon I have said enough.

Yeah. I live in New York and couldn't watch the Rangers game because it was not on MSG. It was on some random channel that I do not get on Cablevision. What the fuck! Fuck you Cablevision for not letting me see a lot of Rangers games this season. :icon_mad:
