I'm not trying to be Dick Difficult here, but I think you guys are way off base on this. We did not make them. Their talent made them. The listeners deserve a radio show that is quality when they are on the air. They deliver that. We aren't owed anything and it's selfish to think otherwise. I'm fairly sure that Ant or Op wouldn't agree that they owe you or anyone else any notice, let alone two days, regarding their schedules. It's their lives -- let them live it.

I don't care that they are gone. But they could have at least stopped for 30 seconds to say "we are bailing early and are gonna be gone Friday." The whole not announcing days off thing is one of my biggest complaints about Hoo Hoo.

The problem is, I had to come to wackbag to find out about it.

Sure allot of listeners come to wackbag, but not anywhere near all of them. If you are a west coaster who wanted to stay up to catch the show (like me), but all you knew was that yesterday cut off early with no real explanation, and suddenly you find out that you wasted staying up this morning, you are gonna be pissed.

Its just a bad way to run a radio show.

I'm on the east coast, and I listen online at work. I couldn't figure out what the fuck happened yesterday. Being at work, I sometimes have to move away from the computer - only to come back and be puzzled.

They could have told us - *better* (if they told us at all).

Apparently only one or two hear knew about the "secret".

Yeah, I know there are a lot of other shows out there - hell - I might even listen to Bob Edwards now! (for the very first time)

But the sneaking off without proper notification - yeah, that's a little bit too "Hoo Hoo" for my taste.

I was thinking about this. But it's possible that when they were on WNEW and syndicated to other markets that the contracts for those markets were written that the mateiral aired over the syndicated stations were their property. For instance Fareed owns that material.

So, being the fan than I am, I checked good ol' Wackbag to see if Ben was dead, or if they got the boot for the CBS thing. Neither was the case and my life will go on as normal.
