This moron refuses to believe in science, Creationism Museum (http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050522/NEWS01/505220367) and even claims that the 6 billion year old earth is really only 6000 years old. Oh yeah, people lived with the dinosaurs and Noah brought the ol' T-rex on his ark! Fantastic...Keep on voting in elections moron!

I'm happy they vote, it balances out all the accursed college students who suck up the liberal rants of their professors without question.
Now back on topic...
How they've come to conclude that the Dinosaurs were on the Ark I'll never understand. If I recall, they believe in unicorns too, as one of the creatures Noah didn't get on the Ark and that's why they're extinct.

That looks a lot more like Boudicca than Eve. Then again, these people have no real explaination other than "the Holy Bible says so." These people are "literalists" in every Bible passage, if it says it rained for 40 days you better believe it or you're on a one way ticket to hell!
I recall a Jesuit explained the creation story as a figurative story; each day corresponding with a scientifically hypothesised event in "the Big Bang theory."
As far as I'm concerned, Christianity is outdated and destroyed the Roman Empire the same way it's killing the American Empire.

No way! I thought that was just an Irish Rovers song.
Anyways, agreed about cancelling out the college drones. It takes a dope to fight a dope. The more one type of dope gets out the vote, the more the other type of dope reciprocates.
Plus this couldn't be any worse than 95% of the other stupid fucking museums out there.

Yeah.. wait, what?!
I'm seriously considering converting to lutherism, the church of Luther Vandroos
That old gag
I'm gonna start my own religion. In Bivism we believe in having another shot of whiskey, listening to heavy metal (God's music), carnal relations with young, hot girls and inappropriate humor.

that sounds good to me..but i think you need more supernatural bullshit in there to call it a "religion".

Like pearly gates and shit? Hmmmm. Big titied naked angels. The city of Heaven resting on a cloud of pot smoke. An eternal afterlife of partying, eating, sucking, fucking. Rest for those who need to recover. No hangovers.
If you believe in the Gyawd of Bivism your cock will get bigger and stay hard all night....but only if you pray (IE, drink) enough.
Full of contridictions and lies? Sure. But what religion isn't?

Was the Earth created in 6 billion years or 6 days?
Even the Bible says we'll never know all the answers.
So, fuck it, let's go bowling.

Whis isn't it possible that God created the Universe 14 billion years ago (the supposed age of the Universe?) It's just as plausible an explanation as the Big Bang theory. It's possible to believe in God and still accept modern scientific beliefs.
I also believe in evolution, but that God made it possible for it to happen. I think that God created the Universe and then stepped back to let it run on it's own for a while.
Check out Conversations with God sometime. They are great books and really opened my eyes.

100% Agreed. But which God? Which Creation? On what evidence?

And who would worship Luther Vandros? His middle name is Ronzoni, and I dont worship people with middle names of Ronzoni; its just me.

I belive to much time and thought has been wasted on how it all started.....Be it a guy who had nothing better to do with a week..or all the matter in universe was once in one big ole bouncy ball.....Does it really matter how we got here ....Just a college professor used to say everyday before class..."Good morning welcome to another day closer to death". Live for the future not in the past....

What bugs me the most about this issue (and every other religious one these days) is that we have forgotten how to live and let live. People imposing their moral compass on others, whether it be evangelicals on athiests or any other group on any other group, we have forgotten (or just don't care about) letting people do their own thing. If you have a certain set of beliefs and think, for example your gay neighbors are evil, fine, why the hell would you want to interfere (try to set them straight, etc.)--do you want them in heaven if you think they're gay? NO! So why waste your energy?
I have too much shit in my life to care one way or the other how anyone else lives their lives (as long as it doesn't DIRECTLY affect mine). I may think that some people are morally or politically reprehensible, but unless their actions directly affect me (i.e. trying to whittle away the first amendment, ban alcohol/porn, etc.), then I am content to let them do what they do and make fun of them behind their backs.

I just don't want someone believing the light is Green when it is red and plowing through the intersection and killing me....Sometimes believing can be a dangerous thing...I hate it when i see these people with 2 cents to their name giving money to the church....drives me nuts!

Go to a bible-belt state and watch a high school football game. Both teams huddle up and pray to God for victory before the kickoff. One team always loses.
Just sayin'.

I completely agree. See my post above. Long story short: as long as your religious beliefs don't affect my life, go nuts.
