I somehow got thru those 17 minutes. I don't know how, but I managed to keep sane through the whole thing without slitting my wrists. I now see how his career in radio just didn't materialize. He'll probably tell ya that he could make much more money in dentistry, rather than radio, and therefore becoming a dentist was a no-brainer. But this guy is a classic radio-junkie.....the type that would give his left nut for airtime anywhere.

He's the type that would sit in bed at night, dreaming about hosting the #1 syndicated morning show in the nation, putting guys like hoo-hoo and Imus to shame. He'd make up calls in his head and answer them to himself. He has little to no credibility in the radio industry PERIOD Sure he does his homework, but the guy has these Board Reflections every week where he goes over the topics that were discussed on the boards.....in other words....internet radio with probably as little as a few dozen to possibly a few hundred listeners. And there is your ZERO credibility. But here's Stupid, giving radio tips and advice to two radio personalities that have not only been in radio together for over 10 years, but have been syndicated since what, 2001? Oops, I didn't count those two lost years.

All in all, this makes Allen Sniffen a very happy dentist. To have a nationwide radio show talking and playing your material on their show, can be very rewarding. And you can tell he absolutely loves it. Why else would he give ONA 17 minutes of material? And, I've heard his rants in the past....he seems a bit more energetic in this reflection.

Ah, you've got to give him credit. He acknowledges them, responds, and included the parts where they made fun of him, and even poked some fun at himself.

His board is popular, and I think a lot of radio people view it (hey, O&A do). It would have been real easy to ignore them, but he didn't. How many people would do that?

Sure, he's corny, and I personally don't agree with him much of the time, but at least he had the balls to answer them. That's pretty cool, you've got to admit.
