I don't know about that- its pretty demeaning to be smacked in the face, even for a joke. A guy who habitually beats his wife knows that very well. What a sorry bully. The slapped guy could've legitamately punched Burt. I bet there's a lawsuit and settlement.

His face didn't look all that playful and it sounded like a pretty solid slap. But is anybody really surprised Burt Reynolds is hitting people?
