I'm Sorry, but here's a new O&A appreciation thread.

I rarely start a thread...but I have to this time.

I have to say it. I just am always amazed at the staggering level of genius of the show......The layers of comedy they use in an interview like last night's "Worst Of".....they were interviewing the sex expert who wrote a book and asking her questions while ripping her book to shreds (literally), all the time doing Connor jokes. A simple interview was so funny on so many levels I couldn't believe it.

And today, where Opie gets the girl to moan and Lil' Jimmy makes her laugh right as thousands of guys had their rods ready to go...I laughed my ass off at the angry callers with their frustrated tool in their hands who now have to go fuck a grapefruit....or a sink.

I am one of those who subscribed to XM and bought all the equipment JUST because I knew the funniest radio show in the world was coming back to the air in a way people never thought of. I was never dissapointed from day one...even with the growing pains of the first few weeks. Recently the shows have been even better than ever with tons of throwaway lines and lines so funny I laugh out loud even on the 3rd replay. I can tell the show is going to be bigger than it ever was. My XM radio has almost never seen another channel except 202.

It's easy to say "Stern sucks", but I really find Stern unlistenable anymore when compared to the genius of the O&A show. All Stern does now is play "retard clips"....he seems to think hearing mentally challenged people trying to convey a thought is funny. What an ass. O&A really run circles around Stern on their worst day...

I should have punched out of this thread a while ago, but the B-Boys check these boards and should be able to read something appreciative along with the criticisms....Me? I have no criticisms...even when they eat on the show. Hell, they can take a shit while on the air for all I care, we're all getting comedy on a daily basis on a level never seen before.

I'd like to thank O&A again too. It's so great they're back. I let a select few listen online at work by logging into my account. It's been huge in spreading

I, too, have to thank the boys. I have 2 brothers, and even though there's 10 years between them, they seem to speak their own language. They crack themselves up while the rest of us just kind of chuckle or look on in confusion.

I got XM at the end of September ONLY for OA. I've been raving about it ever since. My younger brother activated his account as soon as his National Guard unit returned from their deployment, which was back in April. My older brother, well, his virus seems to be in remission. He's the one that got me hooked when the boys were on WNEW but alas, he hasn't gotten XM yet.

My point, and I do have one, is that now my brother and I have our own inside jokes, all show related. It's great to sit there and watch my other brother wonder what the fuck is so funny about, "Quein es es esto?" and "Donde?" as well as the many other lines we throw back & forth.

Thanks, Opie, Anthony, Jimmy, and all of the supporting cast. I might be a girl, but in my family I'm now "one of the boys." :action-sm

started listening to O&A ass soon as they came to Sacramento, on 93.7, when they were fired my 2+ hour daily commute home was fucking wrecked...picked up an xm cause I can't stand Hooknose and his watered-down, recycled psuedo politics.......and since the day I got it, I've been saying that XM needs to pick up O&A...my pathetic life is now complete. i thank the bbboys for making my life at work more gooder. since they came back on my boss and three others have got xm. we have it on all the dump trucks and park the trucks in strategic ways to modulate it to the boombox that we set up on the front lawn of the house we are working on. i haven`t been this happy to wake up and go to work in a long time. :clap: :clap: thanks bbboys
