I think the label has the right of first refusal or something like that, so he can only go elsewhere if they allow him to. (I could be wrong though).

A few weeks ago there was a record producer of some sort that was a guest judge on Idol. He said that he wants to do Bo's next CD. The last time someone said that was Neil Sedaka that said to Clay he would kill to do his next CD....and that ended up with Clay getting an entertainment lawyer who got him out of the stranglehold Idol puts on the Top 12 and he was out of most of his Idol obligations even BEFORE he lost on the final show. All of sudden the day after Clay lost, he announced that he was going to NY the next day to record on Neil Sedaka's label and get his CD out before the Idol winner. Something tells me a similar event happened with Bo...he will sell twice as many records at Ms. Underpants...so I would not be surprised if he also got a lawyer...got out of most of his Idol obligations...and will start recording on another label and destroy Carrie in sales.

Carrie was OK, but every time she sang it sounded like the end credits to a Bruckheimer flick. Bo got the room to stand up and rock just about every time, and added some character to that awful competition.

My favorite part though was the compilation of "American Idol, would've won it but have no talent" singers towards the end. I still can't believe that people will PAY MONEY to watch their sillyness on tour.

I don't really see that much difference between them. It isn't like Bo is a real rock guy. He basically does southern rock and really old 70s balad type of stuff. When he tried to do an acutal rock classic, Satisfaction, I thought he completely stunk. I like him as much as I do her but I thought it was a tossup depending on which camp of Bubbas was voting.

If people here are honest with themselves they could maybe admit that ANYBODY with a country music style would be considered sucky just because this isn't a country music type of board. I wanted bo to win, voted for him, but i Knew carrie would win. She was the one that fox wanted to win. She was their little marketable angel...The thing that really bugged me was the editing of the show. The last to elimination performace shows Carrie screwed up the last notes of her performances...But on the Call Now wrap up highlight clip they used the stock footage from the rehersal where she nailed the notes..I have tivo, and I am geek for tv accuracy so i actually watched it a couple of times to check. So, fox does a few takes of the rehersal until they get it right, and then throws that together for the end of show summary, and totally wipes out the impression left by the real, live, screwed up final note carrie performance...That pisses me off...I posted this on the Idolonfox message board and the whole thread mysteriously dissappeared...hmmm...Shitdicks
