I missed most of the show, cause college class ran late today. I hear Don and Mike are going to get on WYSP now? And O & A are now getting taken off JFK? Can someone fill me in? I don't want to have to go to the radio dickweed dentists' site and read.
I also heard Opie went off on like management today and on DM. Anyone hear the show and can tell me?
Later,
Matt

There is a big shit storm brewing between O & A and management. Opie is pissed about a lot of shit going on in the company, but mostly at WNEW. Keep listening, you will start to understand what's going on.

I dunno the whole story, but I just found this article. It might clear some things up.
D.C. Radio and Television Online (www.DCRTV.com) reported Wednesday that WJFK’s “Don and Mike Show” may be headed back to PM ‘Drive Time’ and the 3:00pm to 7:00pm timeslot, abandoning their current mid-day timeslot of 11:00am to 3:00pm. The show switched to their current timeslot on August 6 of last year.
The move came about for two reasons. WJFK decided to pick up the “Opie and Anthony Show,” a show, which at the time, was soaring ever higher in the ratings. The program, syndicated from WNEW FM in New York City, was still riding high as a result of Opie and Anthony’s hosting the XFL pre-game show, which aired nationally on NBC.
Secondly, Don and Mike felt it to be a necessity to be aired live in the New York market on WNEW. However, the move did take time to iron out, as the NYC radio station needed to bump their mid-day show, Ron and Fez, to a different time. The station eventually moved the show to 7:00pm to 11:00pm (WJFK tape delays the show to air from 11:00pm – 3:00am), thus giving Don and Mike the mid-day slot and a live broadcast in New York City.
Initially the moved seemed to be a success. Though “The Don and Mike Show” ratings dropped, they still had a loyal following. And within the release of the Fall Book of Arbitron ratings, the dynamic duo had regained the stronghold on the Washington DC market with a number one rating.
Meanwhile, Opie and Anthony’s first rating gave them a 10.8 share, a rating which was combined with Don and Mike’s ratings from the PM Drive prior to their move. When the fall numbers were released it was apparent that some concern was to be had. The show’s ratings dropped by 5.9 points from a 10.8 share to a 4.9 share. These were the first ratings that the innovators of Whip ‘Em Out Wednesday, otherwise known as WOW, had received standing alone, not combined with the mammoth ratings that Don and Mike provided them. The ratings have steadily been heading south since that point.
Though unconfirmed, it is rumored that Don and Mike’s ratings have been dropping lately as well.
Thus, it is conceivable that Infinity Broadcasting may be dropping the O&A Show from WJFK’s lineup. In dropping the O&A Show a void would be left at the PM Drive Time slot, a slot which could be filled by Don and Mike.
However, all of that is merely speculation as to the big announcement that they had promised, which is forthcoming on Thursday’s show. The questions only grow greater, however, as the show will be taking Friday off, a non-holiday.
Another possibility as to the ‘upcoming announcement’ is that Don and Mike will begin broadcasting on WYSP in Philadelphia in the near future. The team signed a contract with Infinity that pays them $100,000 annually for the rights to broadcast. Late last year, the Philadelphia topic was much talked about on the show. At one point, Ken Stevens promised the duo that he would give them a specific date that they would begin airing in the city of brotherly love. Geronimo actually phoned Stevens during the show to get an answer as the initial broadcast date.
However, he danced around the question and no answer was given. Thus leaving the Philly situation up in the air.
Could we see the show heading back to PM Drive Time or will the most historic city in America finally be introduced to Don and Mike? An answer should be given on Thursday’s show.

Sorry that post was so long. Oh God, the more I read up on this, the more confused I get. There's too much going on....

This is incorrect. As any O&A fan knows, O&A got that job because of their good ratings and their relationship with Vince McMahon. When O&A were dropped for ET or Current Affair because XFL was not doing well in ratings, O&A still continued to get good ratings.
Secondly, Don and Mike felt it to be a necessity to be aired live in the New York market on WNEW. However, the move did take time to iron out, as the NYC radio station needed to bump their mid-day show, Ron and Fez, to a different time. When Don and Mike finally got to New York City, the #1 radio market, they felt they deserved to get their show played live from 3pm to 7pm. A battle ensued and the casualties were the Chick, Butch, and Chuck when Don and Mike moved to middays live. Ron and Fez, who were just moved from late nights to middays, were moved to nights. Meanwhile, the Sports Guys(AKA Meundo) continued to get bad ratings.
I have talked to Couzin Ed(the guy in the middays on WYSP) online warning him that Don and Mike want his time slot twice, both times he sounded unconcerned with Don and Mike's chances in taking over his slot because his ratings were better that those of Don and Mike.
Thus, it is conceivable that Infinity Broadcasting may be dropping the O&A Show from WJFK’s lineup. In dropping the O&A Show a void would be left at the PM Drive Time slot, a slot which could be filled by Don and Mike.
If this happens then this quote will summarize what will happen: "We always win in the end".-O&A

Facts are facts, DM suck in NY, and will probably tank in Philly.
I have listened to them for like a year(please don't rag me about this I know) and at times they are funny, then there are times that they suck. It's not like when Opie and Anthony suck, where O&A will admit it and try to better the show, it's more like the whole show will suck.
The show is really more stupid humor(don and mike) than anything else. I do like news and comments with Buzz though.
There is no way if Don and Mike suck in NY that they will get ratings in Philly. I'm gonna listen Monday to see what the Phlly people say about them. Probably be similar to what they said about O&A, but when the philly people say Don and Mike suck, they realy mean it(Best call in line ever). I think what don and mike did to O&A is pretty messed up, but as always Opie and Anthony win in the end.
