The clip isn't the full bit, and that tool comes off as another Michael who is trying too hard to get attention. Maybe if he cut his hair he'd maybe be taken a little bit more serious.

I don't think cutting his hair would help. He is nothing more than a punk with no common sense, a website and now a little bit of noteriety. I'd like to see his head cut off and hung upside down from a bridge.

I really dont understand why this guy is getting so many people upset. He is clearly just out to get some attention. Some of the things he says on his website include:
only a moron would die for his own country
Obviously, he is just trying to be as inflammatory as possible - no logical, intelligent person could honestly hold such a view....at least, no one worth getting upset over. The more people get fumed over him, the more he is accomplishing what he wants to do.

OK, I just saw the video....just because of the dumb look on his face, I can understand why people wanna smash his skull with a sledgehammer...but I still think Hannity and Colmes played right into his hands by giving him national airtime.

I just saw this on another site and blew me away soooo ridiculous what this guy is saying. The guy has his home address on his website.

Wow... just watched it, and yeah, the kid is obviously just out for attention... probably someone with no job and tons of money from mommy and daddy.
The sad thing? I've run into a LOT of people with the same attitude. So friggin' annoying... almost got into a fight at the chipper van last weekend because of one of these "blame everyone but the ones responsible" attitude.
I refuse to watch. I refuse to watch. I refuse to watch.

they gave him national airtime because they're in the entertainment biz...the more outrageous, the more viewers, more ratings, etc.
quite frankly i see precious little difference in the primetime cable news 'debate' shows like hannity&colmes and the interview segments of the WWE

As much as I would love to see it and die laughing from it, I don't think Sean'd ever pull a John Cena and say "You want sum, come git some." :icon_lol:

Yes, those debate shows ARE meant to be entertainment, but I wouldnt go so far as to compare it to WWE. At least with debate shows, your getting a good idea of the issues being discussed in the country. The arguments may be shallow and flashy, but I'd say they still do have some intellectual value.

i agree w/you in part but jesus, how intellectually valuable can it be w/a jack tool like crook on it? and i don't know how "good" of an idea you get from them, more like you get somewhat of an idea of the extreme fringe on either side in quick, vitriol laden sound bytes without any kind of substantive debate on any given topic because they don't spend more than 45 seconds on them. and don't get me wrong, i got no problem w/hannity & colmes, as the matter of fact it's probably the best one in its genre, but let's face it, it ain't exactly firing line (the old wm f buckley pbs show)

Hannity's no Buckley, thats for damn sure. But your right, these shows are filled with people spewing venom back and forth. I think, though, that they are a good "launching pad" for people who are non-political to get interested in politics. I use to think Hannity was one of the smartest men in the country. Not that I think he's wrong on his stances - for the most part, I agree with him - but I now know his arguments are very simplistic.
Although I have a feeling he is smarter than he seems on radio or TV - as you said, this is entertainment, and venom-spewing is entertaining. Venom-spewing arguments work best when they are simple arguments.
