Which recent decade was the worst?? My vote is definatly the 80's. The end of great music, decent fashion, parent whipping the shit outta kids, the start of MADD, a 'drug free' America, political correctness, and big business bullshit, among other things.

The most hated decade always seems to be the most recently completed one.

I graduated high school in 92, and looking back to the 80's I thought there was no way the horrible cultural shit that was there when I was growing up would ever return.

Then in the last few years I saw teenagers in vintage tees, Atari gear, legwarmers, McEnroe headbands, etc.

So, this leads me to two predictions:
1) This poll will overwhelmingly choose the 90s as the worst.
2) The kids in 2010 will be wearing "Hammer pants".

Sure the 80s were rediculous, but at least they were fun while going through it. Throughout the 90's I remember the blandness, that boredom, the fucking Seattle misery working it's way across the nation! Stupid Neil Young's face everywhere because he was the godfather of dirt...From fashion to music to politics and the economy, it was all just boring and depressing. Blecch!

I liked the 80s, you could make all kinds of offensive TV without the PTC marshalling the internet against you, and there were all kinds of hummable songs.

The 90s just seem like the beginning of the end. The 70s were not much better but the 90s ease them out because of the rise of crack cocaine. "Hey kids, why don't we flush all our accomplishments as black people down the fucking toilet and blame the CIA for it!"

How about the 10s, where countless soldiers were maimed or killed for essentially nothing more than minor border changes? Communism rose in Russia thanks to the damn war. Oh, and that flu epdemic that killed thousands.

How about the Roaring 20s, where the only roaring by the end of the decade was in the stomachs of the hungry.

How about the 30s, where Herr Hitler planned the most botched war in German history, that eventually handed half of Europe to Uncle Joe? Oh yeah, and we helped the damn Commies who turned out to be just as bad as the Nazis.

And the awesome 40s, when 100 million died thanks to warfare. Great planning, kick the Japs out of China so the Commies could take over. Again, just like Europe, all the government could do was say "whoops!"

The 50s weren't so bad, so we had to fight off the Commies from China in Korea... Other than that it wasn't so bad as long as your housewife kept the kids clean and your food was ready on time.

The 60s should have ended with boat trips returning former slaves to their homes, but we were too concerned with fighting over some useless jungle and spreading toxic chemicals all around there. (ding ding ding)

The 70s weren't so bad. Rolling Stones do Disco.... eww.

The 80s were OK, we got a real President, the first since JFK. Cocaine.

The 90s were a waste, we should have taken out Saddam in the first round. nSync, echk. Alice in Chains were more gooder. Screw Cobain.

This decade sucks for that whole airliner thing.
