Fucking asshats can't change my daytime court date to an evening one. Therefore, I will need to take time off of work without pay.
And a great big FUCK YOU to that ASSHAT tropper that pulled me over AFTER WORK and gave me a fucking ticket with a DAYTIME court appearance. WTF????
If anyone has any advice, I'd be glad to hear it. PM me if you need to.

Don't speed and you won't get ticketed.

Yeah. Because doing the speed limit (55mph) on the GSP is just *SO* friggin safe. If you aren't doing at least 65 you'll get run off the road.

I guess if you get a ticket in Los Angeles, you might not be able to get there on time from Sioux City, Iowa.

Suck it up and pay you fucking revenue stream.
...Now how the majority of traffic on the highways moves at 65+ but only some people get tickets... Can't that be thrown out as "selective enforcement?" And when the hell are the lawmakers going to throw out the laughable 55MPH?

Most courts here in PA only have morning and afternoon court times.

55 stay alive...god did i hate that campaign...A lot of states keep their speed limits where they are due to Federal Highway funding. The federal government holds states hostage with the funds...They dangle them over states and say "uh uh uh...you better not do that or we will pull the highway funding" which can be hundreds of millions of dollars in NY. They even use it for unrelated things...School requirements...Land use...Drinking Age...all of these things are controlled in a round about way by the Feds threatening to take away funding...search federal highway funding on google and you will be shocked!
That may be why the speed limit is still 55!

is it a required court date or are you fighting the ticket?

I'd like to plead guilty to a lesser charge without points (the fine is $85 & 2 points). My license & insurance are clean, but I don't want my insurance going up because of this. I've got about two weeks to decide if I want to pay the fine or go to court.
It still say FU to the cop that gave me a daytime hearing, and to Union for not being able to change it to an evening hearing.
If I do decide to pay it, I may do so in pennies. :icon_bigg

It's 65 here. That may be the one positive thing Ohio has going.

He didn't even acknowledge my PBA card. Then again, maybe that's why the ticket is for careless driving instead of speeding, which carries a bigger fine/points.
