Tri-State Area: Who Has The Worst Drivers?

Seth

I just saw a survey of the most insensitive drivers (or something). No real surprises:
1- Rhode Island
2- Massachusetts
3- New Jersey

New York wasn't in there?

I didn't get passed 3. I don't know where it was, but I'll try to find it. NY'ers aren't actually that bad comparitively. We get the fuck out of the way quite efficiently.

Jersey hands down

New York cab drivers are a close second. They go 90 on the streets and pretend there's no one else there but you get them out on an open highway and the go 50 in the left lane.

According to the scoring, the above mentioned states are the worst:

Ok, first, Jersey drivers are the ABSOLUTE worst. If you can drive in Jersey, you can drive anywhere.

Second, Pennsyltucky isn't part of the Tri-State area, and third, in a poll regarding the TRI-state are, why are there 4 choices? :icon_mrgr

They go 90 on the streets and pretend there's no one else there but you get them out on an open highway and the go 50 in the left lane.

Why is that? I always end up stuck behind some fucking cabbie on the Grand Central going realy slow in the fast lane. Are they trying to let the meter run? If that's the case, at least get to the right!! New York driving stinks.

Born and raised at the Jersey Shore. 0 tickets (well, one if you count the DMV fuckup).

95% of the time if you're driving down ANY multiple lane road and someone is in the left lane slowing up traffic when they should have just moved the fuck over; You get close enough to see the NY plates.

NY drivers are the shittiest drivers on the planet. NJ drives are just the most aggressive.

Long Island drivers are the worst! I just took a road trip up state, and the only place I had to deal with assholes was in good ol' LI. Fucking stupid soccer mom cunts driving there giant SUVs going 55 in the left lane! Then the fucking jerk offs in there rice burners trying to dip in traffic that’s barely moving. Then we all know how old people suck. That’s why what should be a ten minute commute from my house to school can take upwards of a half hour. Anyone else think the Southern State needs to bee blown the fuck up? Just sayin

They all suck the same in my book. I have my own list of bad areas, and the top don't include any of the above 4.

Long Island doesn't have the worst drivers . . . just the dumbest ones. Between people driving 30 on the LIE, people straddling two lanes, people creating their own lanes, people making left turns from the right lane, and people who can't figure out that red means stop and green means go, not the other way around, Long Island is proof that an IQ test should be required to get a driver's licence.

First thing about driving is to move, and if your not moving fast enough, you move right.
Not in florida, here. florida is a place were people just dont know how to drive, as a driver what is the main rule of driving on the road( must piont is out, 'the road'.).

Keep right, pass left

whenever i would drive on jericho tpke.(any town) you always have someone on the on coming lane who makes a left turn and cuts you off, making you slam on your brakes.

jersey drivers are still the worst though

Good point Taz good point!

Grew up in NJ and went to school on LI so i'm not talking out my ass here...PA drivers are by far the worst. They learn to drive on farms and empty roads and don't have any fucking clue on how to transition to driving on roads that other people are driving on. Morons.

Off topic but, Massholes are the worst drivers I've ever encountered. At one point I thought driving in Flushing was the worst because of all the little yellow expressionless zilches behind the wheel, but New England drivers got them beat.

Even though New Jersey is getting most of the votes I have to say NY drivers. Maybe because it was from an experience I had with NY drivers almost taking me out both by car and almost hitting me in the street. It was a cabbie though so I can't say he was an actual New Yorker.

New York wins hands down. We have the largest population, thus then more ass fucks who can't drive for shit.

It amazes me when it's always one or two assholes fucking up traffic by driving too slow in the passing lane.

NEW YORK BY FAR!!! it's not even close.

New Yorkers have no idea how to drive on highways, it's ridiculous.

The left lane is for passing, not for sight seeing you ass tools!!!!!

Ok, lets face it, there are some really bad drivers in the tri-state area.

BZZZZZT! PA shouldn't be on the poll. Technically tri-state area can refer to any area of the US where three states interchange, with a large city in the middle. But the question is refering to the New York Tri-State area. Roughly outlined below. Long Island could probably be it's own entity on the poll too.

100% correct.....yall out of staters need to realize in NJ the speed limit is merely a sugguestion.....when im barrling down rt 42, the ACE, the GSP, or the NJTP when im come up on some dumb asshole in the fast lane going below the speed limit its either PA or NY tags....you fucks need to stop driving like a bunch of ******* and realize you KEEP RIGHT PASS LEFT...and most likely i will be passing you...

NJ hands down has the most aggressive drivers i have ever seen...prolly because to get anywhere realitively fast u need to haul ass because nothing is close...that does not make us bad drivers

i own the road, and a BMW, (yea im the fucking prick in the beemer) so i have to say THIPPPIIT to that. i love to drive 100-120 on the highway. the first accident was some chick that was either drunk or sleeping because i watched her drive right off the road into a barrier and the other one was an big tank truck that came flying past me (i was going at least 80) hit traffic then dumped it into a ditch about 3 cars in front of me it was quite surreal the funniest thing was when the trooper came over to talk to us about it i commented on how crazy it was on the tp the just laughed and said that "we aint seen nothin' yet"
