O&A say they will stay on for 3 minutes. They have spent hours discussing if they should go on the air. Were not even able not to discuss about what will happen today. Talking to boss through agent in LA. Boss was 20 feet away. Boss wants more talking and more meetings. No face to face talking meeting.

Opie learns that he can affect everyone’s career around here. :rolleyes: Opie came into radio affect thinking that some people might agree with what they said not expecting blind devotion.
Said that they would not use their power get people not to talk about them. O&A are mad that they cannot speak openly and honestly. {I think they cannot talk about D&M or Stern.} They have had phone calls all day. Ken is shaking like he has epilepsy.
Big things happening in Philly.
Opie is sarcastic that they have the word of god power.
They will go down the hall and talk.
Opie tells Rick to play the archieved bits.

They say that it will be 4 straight hours of nothing and nothing will happen till 7 pm.
O&A cannot talk about "it" to their listeners.

O&A waited for 45 minutes in their office. And so did Ken. Ken was not looking for them and O&A were not looking for him. Someone told them,“They are gone” Then they go back on the air.

Ken is coming alone.
Opie says he is not bringing Jim Norton.

This is most distressing, I heard the best of from 3:30-4:00 but didn't think anything of it. I just thought it was like the old show. Then when I tuned back in at 6:00 I knew it was trouble.

Let me get this right. There seems to be some sort of gag order where O and A can't mention Don and Mike or Howard? What the fuck are the managers worried about? I just looked at the NYRMB, and was reading one of Sniffens posts. Basically, he blames this whole scenario, not on management, not on Don and Mike, but on O & A, Opie in particular. Sniffen says somethign along the lines that Opie is acting like a baby, and he shouldn't be complaining about DM being syndicated to WYSP. He says that Anthony seems not to care, and seems that he wants Opie to give it up. Man, this guy really don't shit about radio. Although he lieks to think he does.

I don't agree w/Sniffen and his theory, but the one thing I don't get is why are O & A fighitng w/Don and Mike? Two months ago, werne't they like on speaking terms? Weird.

Nobody knows the whole story, not even Alan Sniffen ass. Only Opie and Anthony know the whole story. They should have been let in on all of this shit way earlier than they were. If this is about don & mike being syndicated to philly and that's what is upsetting o&a then I don't understand the problem? I totally hate d&m. They just plain suck. They will get no ratings in philly, just like they get no ratings in NY. I don't understand the appeal and how they get ratings here in DC. It makes me embarrassed to live here.

I was listening to teh Don and Miek show before, and Don started off right away about where his show stood w/the Opie and Anthony show:

Don said that the gag order was started by Ken Stevens and not by him and Mike. He said he doesn't care if OA talk about them for four hours, they really don't care. They understand that OA don't like them and Don and Mike really don't care for OA.

Basically they blammed this whole thing on Ken Stevens. He told Don and Mike that they were't allowed to talk about O A and Don said that he was going to go on the air and clear thingsu p.

You know something? I used to be a Howard fan about 5 years ago... But then he started heavily bashing his own listeners and from there it went to hell. I have no love for someone who doesn't respect the people who got them there.

Secondly, and I'm sure this has been mentioned before, BUT, O & A aren't even on in that Jackass's time slot. What in the blue 'f' is his problem?

I know what it is, he sees someone who can take a 5 hour time slot with NOTHING and be funny as hell when he can't do it planning months in advance. The clock is ticking. I give Howard 5 more years max...

The same reason that Don and Mike are bitter towards O&A. Opie and Anthony are kicking ass in ratings, and Stern doesn't want to lose his fanbase. Don and Mike, have the bumfuck fans, but in DC, they don't want to lose their fans.

Howards a paranoid douche-bag too. He really thinks that everyone is stealing stuff from him.

Stern just signed a contract w/Infinity for like 3 years, so he won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Don and Mike said they have like a year left on their contracts, but they just signed in Philly, so I don't know if they would resign or not.
