If this were available online, AND OF COURSE IT ISN'T :icon_evil , I would probably check it out on Thursday and Friday to get updates beyond what I can find online. However, on the weekend it's the same boat as football, if you want to watch the tournament, you're going to be watching it on TV, not listening to it on the radio.

If XM is getting the golf channel, then is Sirius getting the chess channel?

This will probably end up the same way my "vadge vs. vag" comments did, but I'm looking forward to checking out the PGA channel on XM when I'm done listening to the O&A replay.

I watch the Golf Channel when I'm at home at least a little bit each day, and I can't be alone. It's been around for over 10 years now, so somebody has to be tuning in. I'm sure the XM version will do just as well.

Okay, go ahead and smash me in the face now. I'm ready for it.

I golf 2-4 times a week and even I can understand how one actually enjoys listening to it.

Apparently what I've been hearing is that at golf tournaments, XM will be renting out or lending Myfi's to people who want them. This way they can go walking around watching golf and listen to the coverage on the Myfi to hear what else is happening on the course.

That is pretty cool, if the price is right I may check it out at the PGA Championship.

Golf's a really popular game and those that play tend to have money -- it'd be an appealing market. I'm just not sure there's enough demand for customers to buy XM to listen to it on the radio.

If XM gets the rights cheap enough, just chalk it off to 'more content' under the marketing/advertising budget.

For myself, I might listen to the major's if I happen to be traveling at the time.
