I had to quit my part-time job doing tech support at a middle school cause my college schedule in the fall prevents me from working the hours I need to. Also, FU to the school district for not having any summer work, so I had to quit even earlier. I can't find any part-time IT jobs that fit my schedule now. I guess its back to working retail now, stocking shelves. WHAT FUN!

College stinks. Spend the money on hookers like Li'l Jimmy. You'll get a lot more action than those uptight college skanks that you have to intoxicate to get anything from.

yeah.. I should have dropped out of high school to become a millionaire radio star. Instead I took the education route where I can't even hold a part time job. Thank-you high school advisor.

I go to a community college and I don't think the whole college thing is for me. I mean my grades are I guess ok...but i just get all stressed out with everything and plus the lazy factor comes in too. I will be a Sophmore this coming year. I just have to buckle down more this year I guess. :icon_roll

Dude!!! I dropped out of junior college and now I make about a hundred grand a year. My boss barely finished high school and lives in a freaking mansion. We turn wrenches for a living. Come out to California and if you have a brain and a work ethic I'll hook you up with a job.

Unfortunately, college teaches people about being 'entitled' to certain things and not how to be successful through hard work.

Fuck college.

I totally agree, but a lot of places won't even interview you without a degree so I'm trying to give myself as many options as possible. College doesn't teach you shit about working, this girl I know just had her first real job interview and she just graduated. I know she went job hunting unprepared because she went for a part-time job that "may" turn full time later. If college taught her anything, then she should have known to avoid shit like that.
