So I got a call on my work line today asking me to take part in a radio survey about the stations I listen to. I told her Xm and channel 202. I thought she was going to say it had to be "normal radio" but she took my info and asked me if I listened to any other stations. I told her I didn't and she took down some info and that was that.
So I figure I did my part to help out the boys, I'm going to do some gloating now.

I hope you don't get berated for starting this thread. But I'm afraid you might. Afterall, you aren't a member of the "elite".

I stand corrected. You seem to be well on your way to becoming a member of the "elite".

Oddly enough, they were doing a radio survey in the line at the Mindless Self Indulgence show here, asking people what stations they listened to. I pen'd in "XM Satellite Radio", and scribbled "OK, Terrific" across the entries above mine. Anyone who listens to 93X here are bores, what a horrible radio station.

How does it feel being one of the "elite"? Is it as fantastic as I imagine?

A few months ago I got a call from Arbitron regarding my Satellite Radio listening habits. When I told them I listen to XM202 they said that channel didn't exist. They also didn't have a "Comments" field to put it into. Whenever he would type in 202 it would default to 197 or something. I tried to convince him that it did exist and that I was paying extra for it as it was premium, and he said the only premium channel was Playboy.
So i just gave Squizz my "vote"...

^ Hey, I'd rather give something on XM my vote, rather than just hanging up! The guy was a moron and he honestly thought I was making it up! Probably some minimum wager.

Oh no, you did the right thing. I was outraged by his conglomerated, mulatto, mongrel class of survey.

I used to take radio surveys all the time and then the boys got fired, after that I just told them to fire don and mike and all I would listen to was WGLS, a collage classic rock station out of glass borough NJ, because the DJ fuck ups were funnier than don and mike.

Maybe someone could enlighten me about Don & Mike. I gave them a listen when O&A called an attack when poor lil' Rudy died, and obviously I'm not going to try and listen to something to hate it. I gave it a chance, and I can't imagine anyone who would listen to that shit. Where they ever edgy?
